Nma, I have only one icon. Doesn't that look a bit... unprofessional?

[Franky also has one icon. You two are just
as

I do care, but it's as if I'm stuck with a secretary that doesn't care about her job and I can't fire her either.

You should really give her more credit. I guess this whole thing really isn't much of her style anymore. Ahh but why'd she pick someone as boring as you-
Nevermind. [A laugh.] Seems like you're just her type or something. Even has more guys just like you up there in her head. What a damn quiet place. [Eugh.]

Rooting around in someone else's mind space is very rude, Franky.

Who says I am? I'm stuck in here across the room. [Waves.]

[Ace bows back in return.] Portgas D. Ace, Whitebeard second division commander, currently residing in
It's very nice to meet you, sir!
no subject
Well, the pleasure is all mine. I've heard a great deal about you and your captain in the papers. How is Wake? It seems like a very large community...
no subject
[And he waves a hand.] Not that big? [Ticks off some fingers.] It's only about a single division worth. [Yeah because a hundred people is totally small.]
But it's great! Everyone is really friendly and nice! Except for the ones who aren't. [Helpful.] My little brother's chef owns his own restaurant there though! And there's usually something fun to do. [If only because Ace's idea of fun is weird at best.]
How about you, Sir? How is Water 7 these days?

Glad to hear it. Being shoved into a game is always easier to handle when you're around your fellow acquaintances. [It's OK, he understands what he means.]
It's going through a rough time at the moment, but I'm confident that we'll be able to build it back up to its former glory. We didn't put all that effort into the city's well-being just to be torn down by a single incident, after all.
no subject
Single incident? What happened? [While Garp told him a lot about Luffy's adventures at Enies Lobby, and even some of the Water 7 aftermath, damage to Water 7 itself was left out.]

That Straw Hat Luffy is quite the troublemaker, huh?
2/3
[ALL THE PRIDE.]

My sympathies about the storm, however. You said there was a way to repair all the damage? Planning to keep building the city upwards then?
no subject
Ah but before that you should definitely get more icons. Then you can come have fun.

Re: 3/3
Yes, he and his crew, among many others in the city laid down their lives to help him. It was quite moving, to say the least. He has a very promising life ahead of him...
[Then he nods, taking the change of subject in stride.]
We have no other choice, but it suits us just fine. We have the best shipwrights and engineers in the world, so it won't be too difficult. Have you ever stopped by the shipyard? Or the train station?
[He can't help but ask. The train is his, Tom's and Franky's greatest pride, after all.]

Good, I heard he has quite that effect on people he meets.
Ah, my apologies. [BOWS HIS HEAD AGAIN.] I can't say I've ever been so lucky. I seldom had much reason to get back to the Paradise side of the Grand Line, and when I did, I was hunting a traitor. I've heard they're rather magnificent, however. [Also that Gold Roger's ship Oro Jackson was built there, which actually taints his view but you know, whatever.] I also heard my little brother's chef actually wrote a giant letter at the train station? [Sanji plz.] But only rumors. Care to describe them in your own words, sir Mayor?
no subject
[Not that he has any real SAY in that or anything, uhhuhu.]

It was considered graffiti and washed off as soon as we had the time after everything settled down, but it was important at the time. He was trying to leave a message to the navigator of the crew about his whereabouts.
[He rubs his chin, grinning.] Nma... although, I heard a good 90% of the letter was a love letter.
no subject
[ALL THE LAUGHS.] From Sanji to Nami, I wouldn't be surprised in the least. He's even kept their rooms completely pristine and perfect in case they ever come back. Hopefully they'd appreciate it.

That's very thoughtful of him. I'm sure they won't be apart for long. This series seems to be picking up steam in terms of popularity, so who knows? Perhaps someone will show up with her in tow.
no subject
We'd like that.
We all miss her, I think.
Well, "all"... it's just the three of us really.
