[Yuugi is confused especially since his mun is evil and took him from a canon point earlier then the Memory Arc, you called him 'partner' after all. He knows from the way his other is talking that something happened, probably that something that he had known would be coming since Battle City.]

Mmmm. [Have a nod.] Although she's placed me in a game that involves a mist that apparently makes people crazy and cannibalistic elves, although I haven't actually seen the elves yet. The others told me about them.

None of our friends are there, though.

[A pause. He was always good at puzzles after all, and it only takes him a second to realize what the piece he was missing was.]

[The next bit has him pausing, frowning as he thinks.]

[Although what Kuriboh can do against the elves is anyone's guess.]

I did. In a sense, anyway. [He frowns a bit. The whole thing had been so disorienting, he wasn't really sure how to describe it. He knew some things, and he knew who he was, but the game Bakura had made them play didn't turn out accurately to how things had actually played out in Egypt. So things were still hazy.]

Ah. [At that, he smiles.] That's good. Kuriboh has never let us down before, I'm sure he'll protect you wherever you go.

He did! I didn't even know I could do it until I accidentally called him out while trying to get away from something that looked like the Blue Eyes White Dragon.

[He glances over at his other.]

[There's a part of him that's sad, Mou Hitori no Boku will always be Mou Hitori no Boku to him, even when they're separated. Not that Yuugi thinks of the other as just another part of him, far from it. His other deserves to know the truth and be his own person, it's just... his other has always been his other and Yuugi can't think of another way to say how important the Pharaoh is to him.]

[He looks away and holds back a sigh. This was... difficult. If Yuugi didn't know yet what was coming for them, then Atem couldn't bring himself to say it. He didn't want to hurt Yuugi more, and it still.. it still hurt him too much.] For now, call me what you'd like.

I don't think so, I think if he was, then Kaiba-kun would have said something to me by now. I've been there for almost two months, after all. I mean, once I mentioned Duel Monsters and had been showing some of the others my deck, one of them told me that someone who played had been there, but it had been someone named Johan.

[There's a pause as he looks up at the other.]

Mou Hitori no Boku, if you don't want me to call you that, then I won't. I will always be willing to share my name and my memories with you, but you deserve to be your own person too.

Hmm. That's not a familiar name. Still, it means that perhaps one of your friends will be there with you soon, if others from your world have been there before. I don't know if it's something necessarily to hope for, but still.

[He still doesn't really want to look at Yuugi. Atem had told Yuugi something similar, after the Ceremonial Duel. Neither of them really knew how to be just themselves without the other, it seemed. That made it all the worse.]

I am my own person, regardless of what you call me. As such, you can call me whatever you'd like. If you wish to continue to call me 'Mou Hitori no Boku,' as you have done up 'til now, than you may.

It doesn't seem like you've been in your mun's headspace for very long. [Crosses her arms.] Just be grateful for that! I've been in this headspace since 2003, and mun's always been so annoying! She won't even age me up unless it's a special occasion... [She could be a lovely young adult lady by now, and maybe people would actually take her seriously instead of questioning her genius. Don't you see how infuriating that is to her, mun?]

Well, I'm not too sure about that. I believe my mun has tried this out with... 'other' versions of me, many years ago. Or at least that's what I've come to understand. She is very well acquainted with me, at any rate, even though I am just now meeting her. ...It's very confusing.
