I did! I absolutely did with Shogo. No complaints here. I mean, after M-Day, and then after the whole vamping out thing, I kinda thought I had nothing left to live for...or unlive for.

But Shogo...he gave me purpose again, y'know?

God, back in the day, I would've made fun of someone saying that a baby brought them purpose.

She may not be able to relate, exactly, to all that Jubilee has been through, but Kitty does know what it's like to feel like you've found some kind of purpose.] He's such a sweet little guy. Seems like we manage to find exactly what it is we need from the most unexpected sources.

Oh. [Gdi, Jubilee. That was Kitty's attempt at shifting the topic so she didn't have to get into all the "horrible" things the person at the keyboard has done to her.] It's... nothing. Really. As much as I think I'm starting to like the guy, he's got a lot of baggage. He's kinda emotionally challenged on top of all that baggage. It'll go down as another one of Kitty Pryde's famous romantic blunders, I'm sure.

One thing I've learned from growing up between Xavier's and the Massachusetts Academy is that we've all got lots of baggage, though. Emma did. Monet, bless her snarky heart, did. God knows Wolverine has all the baggage that's mutantly possible. Kind of the thing in our world.

Her cheeks might be warming up just a bit, her face flushed at the very idea.] Yeeeaaah, somehow I'm doubting that. Trust me on this one, Jubilee. I know that everyone has their baggage. Heck, I probably have a ton, but... there's baggage and there's baggage that you use as a wall to keep people out. On principal, I don't like walls. I guess that's part of what is so appealing about someone who is, like, actively interested.

Bobby and I fizzled out big time. Can't say I broke up with him in the nicest way possible. I probably could have been a little more understanding of everything he's been going through since the Snowpocalypse, but... what's done is done. What can you do?

No, I can't imagine that someone who can go through almost any walls would like the metaphorical, emotional, impenetrable ones all that much. [Kitty gets a slightly fangy little smile at that. From any vampire, it'd be unsettling, but from Jubilee, it's actually kind of cute.]

It's funny. I always thought that you and Bobby would make a cute pair, but sometimes...well, life throws you a curveball. It's up to you on whether you wanna catch it or not.

Now I just feel... stuck. I don't necessarily want to end things, but there are only so many times you can rush that wall before you realize it's a big waste of time. The new guy is a nice distraction, but he's also an added complication, so I'm trying to view this as "hey, look, you made a new friend!"

Bobby's great, it just wasn't meant to be.
