What is your world like?

Well, my home is in Germany. We've a very lush forest and we're surrounded by other countries. We have mountains and all sorts of creatures in the kingdom!

[OH MY GOD. Of course she WINCES because she thinks maybe it's going to eat her.]

[Tiger tongues are as rough as normal house cats -- that's the first thought Asuna has. But she eventually smiles and relaxes a little, even reaching up to stroke under his chin in thanks (for not eating her).]

You could, but I wouldn't expect kisses from a wild tiger. Rajah is special.

I'm a bounty hunter. It's my job to hunt fugitives down across the galaxy. A day that I don't go to at least three planets is a slow day for me.

That must be amazing. {Said almost dreamily.} I've only seen one world - and not much of it.

[She takes her helmet off and shrugs a bit.]

It's not as glamorous as it sounds, I assure you. Most of my jobs either involve hunting down parasites that can drain any living creature of energy and leave them empty husks, or hunting down pirates that are determined to bring the galaxy under their control. For the vast majority of the time, when I'm actually on a planet, everything else on the planet wants me dead..

That doesn't sound fair. {Jasmine offers her a cushioned seat while Rajah sprawls on his side.} Can you find another job? No one should be in that much danger constantly.

[That actually gets half a chuckle out of her.]

No. Those pirates I mentioned? They attacked my colony when I was a little girl, killed everyone, including my parents. I barely managed to survive, and was taken in by an alien race called the Chozo. They raised me, gave me this suit and the means to operate it.

This is sort of a personal thing between me and the pirates, but at the same time, someone needs to stand up to them, and I just so happen to have the perfect tools for the job. No, this is what I was meant to do.

It sounds like a sad existence. {Different from imprisonment in one place maybe, but an imprisonment nonetheless.} Do you have any other aspirations?

[She shrugs.] Hey, someone has to do it, and it makes good money. I live very comfortably between jobs, and kicking ass is something that comes rather naturally to me.

Well, if there's one thing this place has going for it, there's not a shortage of new places to explore.

They sure do. More than you'd think. Some of them are a lot alike. Others are different.

A handful of people I know all came from different universes. Different times. Different situations...

Do you have a lot of experience in other worlds? {She rests a hand on Rajah's head, keeping him calm.} I haven't explored much.

I've been to a few alternate ones, but I've met more from other worlds in a most unusual one.

[He shows a partial grin. Sure, he'll try his best to explain in a way you can understand. Or try to.] Timelines. Past, present, future. Like, I met a doctor from the 1700's, way, way before I was born, which is the year 1979.

As from my future, I recently met my twin grandsons. All grown up.

Hmph, There are so many interesting new worlds out there, My Lady and I intend to win over the hearts of their people and conquer each and everyone.
