This is so great!! I'm glad to be back and ready for action, even though you haven't touched my series in three years. You're right-- a girl like me never really leaves!

I'm just from such an old series. Comparatively, of course, to those like Free! and Attack On Titan. I'm basically a giant throwback. People get a strange nostalgia when they see me. They don't have any muses from my series. It's great to be loved, sure, but I want to hang out with my friends again! Lelouch! Shirley! Kallen! Suzaku! I like my new friends at Holly Heights, but it would be nice to be with people from my old life. 

You just can't separate a group like that! We're family FOR LIFE!

It is. To be with Brother and Suzaku again, it's like as dream come true. I only wish the rest of our friends were there to share it with us.

He is, yes. Both he and Suzaku helped me with it, although I admit it took me a little while to be completely steady on my feet.

It would be nice to have the gang back together. Families shouldn't be separated, you know. But it's good that you've got the two of them! You deserve it, Nunnally.

I'm glad they've both been gentlemen! I wouldn't expect any less from them. And I wouldn't expect anything other than a bit of trouble in the beginning! It's making your body learn something all over again. The fact that you've done it is incredible!

Well, it's funny. Lelouch has this tendency to take in kids when they arrive in Nautilus. We have two boys living with us now. Along with what seems like an entire zoo worth of pets.

It was all Suzaku's idea too. Lelouch was away on business when I arrived in Nautilus and we came up with the idea to surprise him with it. It didn't quite work out that way, since he returned before we could, though.

He took them all in! I've never known him to be the nurturing sort. Of course, you were always the exception to any of his rules.

Ooh! I bet the face he would've made would've been PRICELESS! Suzaku's a good man-- he'd come up with good ideas too! I'm sorry your plan didn't work, but the results were just as good, if not better!

Well, we know what's it's like to be in a strange place all by ourselves. We don't want it to be that way for anyone else, so we try to help them.

They were. I even got to run along the beach and stand in the waves of the ocean.

How exciting! That's such a nice feeling, isn't it? Not only the beach, but the freedom you have now. I'm so happy for you!

It is. I've gotten to do so much in Nautilus, it's been wonderful!

[ See her brother and Suzaku, walk, travel to other worlds. So much more than she ever thought she would. ]

I'm so glad!! After everything, you deserve magic like that! And I'm sure your smile is more radiant than it's ever been... Those boys are so lucky to have you around.

Me? Well, I've been in Holly Heights for... a little more than a week? I haven't been able to do so much. Which, you'd think I'd have already blown up the place by now! Still, it's a good place to be. Much safer than the Settlement...

An entire week and you haven't planned any sort of festival or party?

[ Cue her shock. Not gonna lie, some of her favorite memories of Ashford were of Milly's little parties. ]

Oh, I have plans! Tonnes of plans! Like, I'm participating in a bake sale and a giant game of Dare or Bigger Dare soon, and I'm planning a joint party with a few friends for my 21st! Plus there's the idea of opening a lingerie shop, working for a friend as a bartender, a Valentine's Day festival in August... I mean, I've got ideas already! I just haven't had a chance to get them off the ground.

[andnowisee]

[ She just blinks at the list as Milly rattles them off.

It takes her a moment before she starts laughing. ]

Oh, Milly, don't ever change.

[shesgotguts]

Aw, I like change sometimes! I'll do my best to stay the same just for you, though!

[she laughs with nunnally, running her hand through her hair.]

True, not all change is bad.

[ Change is what did, after all, get her to where she was today, but. ]

But I think that as long as you don't lose who are you, in your heart, everything will be all right.

Very true! I think I can stay true to myself, too. I mean, why would I want to be anything else but me?

[andnowisee]

Well, I know that I wouldn't want you to be anyone other than yourself.

[ She laughs. ]

And despite it all, I don't think Lelouch would either.

I'm glad you both would want me stay the same ol' Milly Ashford! I like that idea too! Though, I'm surprised Lelouch wouldn't want me to ease up.

Well, he might not have liked the dresses, or even the cat costume, but you do have to admit, Milly, that it was fun.

[ She gives a small, sad smile. ]

And it let us forget, even if just for a little while.

It was so fun! That's why I did it-- because no matter what, everyone deserves to smile. And we deserved it the most. Wars make it hard to be happy all the time. But we had to give it our best effort!

[there's a smile in return, but not as sad.]

And we did, didn't we?

[She reaches out to gently touch the other woman's arm.]

I know you would and I'm forever grateful for that.

[ Because at least that means one thing stays constant in her life. ]

You as well. Other then Brother and Suzaku, I never really get to talk to anyone that I knew before my mun sent me to Nautilus.

It's scary to think we're a rare breed now! Maybe that'll change.

But what is Nautilus like? I'd ask my mun, but she doesn't know either.
