This is so great!! I'm glad to be back and ready for action, even though you haven't touched my series in three years. You're right-- a girl like me never really leaves!

I'm just from such an old series. Comparatively, of course, to those like Free! and Attack On Titan. I'm basically a giant throwback. People get a strange nostalgia when they see me. They don't have any muses from my series. It's great to be loved, sure, but I want to hang out with my friends again! Lelouch! Shirley! Kallen! Suzaku! I like my new friends at Holly Heights, but it would be nice to be with people from my old life. 

You just can't separate a group like that! We're family FOR LIFE!

It is. I've gotten to do so much in Nautilus, it's been wonderful!

[ See her brother and Suzaku, walk, travel to other worlds. So much more than she ever thought she would. ]

I'm so glad!! After everything, you deserve magic like that! And I'm sure your smile is more radiant than it's ever been... Those boys are so lucky to have you around.

Me? Well, I've been in Holly Heights for... a little more than a week? I haven't been able to do so much. Which, you'd think I'd have already blown up the place by now! Still, it's a good place to be. Much safer than the Settlement...

An entire week and you haven't planned any sort of festival or party?

[ Cue her shock. Not gonna lie, some of her favorite memories of Ashford were of Milly's little parties. ]

Oh, I have plans! Tonnes of plans! Like, I'm participating in a bake sale and a giant game of Dare or Bigger Dare soon, and I'm planning a joint party with a few friends for my 21st! Plus there's the idea of opening a lingerie shop, working for a friend as a bartender, a Valentine's Day festival in August... I mean, I've got ideas already! I just haven't had a chance to get them off the ground.

[ She just blinks at the list as Milly rattles them off.

It takes her a moment before she starts laughing. ]

Oh, Milly, don't ever change.

[shesgotguts]

Aw, I like change sometimes! I'll do my best to stay the same just for you, though!

[she laughs with nunnally, running her hand through her hair.]

True, not all change is bad.

[ Change is what did, after all, get her to where she was today, but. ]

But I think that as long as you don't lose who are you, in your heart, everything will be all right.

Very true! I think I can stay true to myself, too. I mean, why would I want to be anything else but me?

Well, I know that I wouldn't want you to be anyone other than yourself.

[ She laughs. ]

And despite it all, I don't think Lelouch would either.

I'm glad you both would want me stay the same ol' Milly Ashford! I like that idea too! Though, I'm surprised Lelouch wouldn't want me to ease up.

Well, he might not have liked the dresses, or even the cat costume, but you do have to admit, Milly, that it was fun.

[ She gives a small, sad smile. ]

And it let us forget, even if just for a little while.

It was so fun! That's why I did it-- because no matter what, everyone deserves to smile. And we deserved it the most. Wars make it hard to be happy all the time. But we had to give it our best effort!

[there's a smile in return, but not as sad.]

And we did, didn't we?

[She reaches out to gently touch the other woman's arm.]

I know you would and I'm forever grateful for that.

[ Because at least that means one thing stays constant in her life. ]

You as well. Other then Brother and Suzaku, I never really get to talk to anyone that I knew before my mun sent me to Nautilus.

It's scary to think we're a rare breed now! Maybe that'll change.

But what is Nautilus like? I'd ask my mun, but she doesn't know either.

It's a bit... crazy, to be honest.

For the most part, it's not bad. I've made lots of friends, I get to work with Brother and Suzaku and help protect all these different worlds, but every so often, we have what we call 'Reality Storms,' where things go a little nuts and something usually happens.

Like there was a week where some people got turned into cats, or like Suzaku, got stuck with cat ears and a tail. [ Or that week that people changed genders and she finally got a chance to see Luluko, but Nunnally isn't saying that. ]

And there's this thing called Bending, where you can will things into existence. Like, if you wanted an apple, all you would have to do is thinking about it and it would appear in your hand. It's something everyone can learn.

That sounds fascinating! I used to be somewhere where you could wish for anything! It was a magic city... Splendor, I think. I liked it there. Nautilus sounds like a good place to be too!

So, you three are true heroes, protecting worlds... What are you protecting them from, though? Themselves? Each other? Something else entirely?

Well, some worlds have things called 'flaws', where something is wrong within the world, like... within it's programming I guess is a good way to look at it?

[ It's the closest thing she can come up with, considering that she never really used computers before. ]

When someone arrives in the city, they're considered Wakened. After some time, Nautilus chooses some people to Ascend, sort of moving up a level. The level above Wakened is called Angelii. Your Bending ability gets stronger and you get a lot of other abilities as well, such as being able to sense flaws. Angelii usually work in tandem with the next level, Ashura, in order to find flaws. Angelii sense them, lead the Ashura to them and then the Ashura fix them.

I became an Angelii almost nine months ago, both Brother and Suzaku Ascended to Ashura before I Wakened.

I see. Doesn't seem to difficult to grasp, but that's quite a bit of responsibility, to fix worlds and their... flaws, you said? But congratulations on becoming an Angelii!

Though, did our world have flaws in it? Like, in the programming, I mean.

I think it did, but Brother and Suzaku took care of that before I arrived. They have years on me there.

Really? That's so strange to think about... That they've been there for years, when I saw both of them recently. I'm glad they fixed our world, though! It was a good place to live, thanks to them.

Time is strange in Nautilus. I arrived there not long after Brother...

[ She lets her voice trail off, but she's sure Milly knows what she's referring to. ]

But then I discover that both Lelouch and Suzaku are in their early twenties. It was rather surreal, to be honest.
