On finishing "The Shadow" comics and thinking about fanfiction
I am likewise pleased at the results of the completed series. All nonsense was dispensed with in favor of an agreeable representation.
I recognize you are still unfavorably biased against some of the other representations, but all are welcome to their own opinions, Mun. Even if that includes references to...a less than becoming series of fictional events from the distant past.
Do as you wish with the comics but remember, you bought them. You might as well read them, particularly if you are considering a draft of that fictional account set in my future. You must learn from what works, as well as what does not.

[Yeah, easy for the legacy hero to say.]
Mun. Just. Flails. Happily.
That's just what I was doing! =3
[It's why granduncle Britt--- your peer--- retired. This life just isn't for a married man.]
You really are gonna outlive us all.
Let us flail together!
I am a pilot at heart, so that is a given. And while I have a history of survival, I am yet a mortal man. I hope to live for a long time, just as anyone would, but the last thing I'd wish for is immortality.
Oldschoolers FTW! *flails*
Maybe it's not the man that counts but what he leaves behind.
[And he says that as a musician.]
If yours is ne'er-do-wells of the streets and a few generations scared straight, I don't mind. And I doubt my predecessors would either.

[The Shadow gives this newer Green Hornet a quick glance over and nods.]
My own experience with your predecessor agrees with that statement. Our methods did not agree with each other, but they were no less effective in the greater scheme.

Then you might be glad to know some things haven't changed. The Green Hornet remains the inside guy, even if the rest of the world doesn't know it.

A sound tactic that's served your legacy well. I consider such talents to effectively infiltrate the underworld of immense value in my own agents.
[Subtle compliment is subtle, because that smile tells him he's complimented the Green Hornet enough today.]
