Oh, it'll be fun, I'll grant you that. I'm sure I'll end up enjoying it, and there are a couple people who will probably provide me with amusingly horrified reactions. But if you're hoping for me to gain anything from it.... well. You're going to end up disappointed.

Perhaps not, but I think you will like having things in common with someone. Maybe even wish for a prolonged student. Even if you only have fun for three days it is at least worth while.

Since things seem to be different between our worlds, do you know what your world's version of North was before he became Guardian?

He and the other Guardians were similar to what they are now-- they just weren't organized. The Man in the Moon got them together to protect the children of the world-- from me, among other things.

Before that, I don't know what he was. If he existed before he was an immortal, I wasn't aware of it.

We talked about this Pitch. I don't mind fear as long as no one gets hurt. Fears make you face them. The Pitch of my world hurt children along with scaring them.

[He's very determined when it comes to this point. Whether he likes it or not Pitch has a loyal comrade.]

Then things are different. We met before I was immortal. In the village of Santoff Claussen

[So he knows where the who Santa thing comes from.]

Before that I was known as the Bandit King. I learned swordplay and other skills from the people I was raised by. I honed my skills looking for riches. Which lead me to facing the Pitch of my world as he attacked a village of children I so happened to be looking for gold in.

[... Though, really. The idea of having a Guardian defend him is pretty funny, if only because of how the other Guardians would react. Maybe he'll keep the whole "being willing to attack the kids who stepped up to fight with the Guardians" a secret for now. Even if he sees himself as totally justified there, North might not, and that would ruin the fun.]

Yes, but my job as Guardian is to make sure a man possessed by demons doesn't consume the world I care about or the people on it. Not to attack a man with interests in fear for the simple sake of it.

[North would take exception to that to be sure, but he would blame the Guardians just as much as Pitch. They brought the Children into their mess one way or another.]

Would explain the Sword fighting, but my mun pointed out there are definitely differences between our skills. The same can be said for Bunnymund as he does not seem to keep time-travelers in check in your world.

Yes it seems that time travel is possible, but you are not allowed to change anything. Bunnymund seems to be the one to stop others from abusing the ability beyond information gathering.

[So far Pitch hasn't used it for his own gains, but you never know.]

A good friend of mine used a time machine maintained by the Lunar Lamas, if you don't have those either they are a group of monks devoted to the moon and the man on it.

That last part isn't surprising. There are groups of humans devoted to everything you can think of.

I am actually very troubled by the turn of events in your world. I am happy you are not the destroyer of the golden age, but I do not understand then why you were targeted.

You aren't a bad person. So why then were you originally targeted by The Man in The Moon as a threat?

He seemed to feel that fear had no place in the world anymore.

[Not that Pitch knows for sure that that was his opinion. He just assumed.]

Then he is no man to follow. I've told you of the things the version of you from my world has done. Those are reasons to see someone as an enemy. Being a spirit of fear is hardly a reason to make you a target.

If I see anyone from my universe I will be sure to explain the situation to them. I would like to think they would feel the same as me. Although some may be more wary than others, just as you are wary of me.

I am not saying you fear me. Just that you are unsure if a North, any North can be an ally.

Just as I am sure the Man in The Moon of my world would be wary of trusting any Pitch after he destroyed an entire civilization more or less in front of him.

If you want to go after any of my world's Guardians, that's perfectly fine with me-- but I'm uninterested in having you as an ally behind that.

I will not actively hunt them, but if they attack you I will intervene.

Other than that I am here to help, but I won't do anything other than protect your life unless you ask me too.

One thing that seems common between our worlds is belief is a powerful thing. For mine it is the basis of magic and the reason I'm alive. So if nothing else you have added one more human who believe in you even if it was unintended.

Because I think they deserve a chance to learn the truth and understand where they went wrong.

You said it yourself, you never knew these people in their mortal lives. That means their reason for fighting you is because their man in the moon brought them together in an effort to snuff out fear entirely. He could of talked them into thinking it was a good idea.

Making it so no one has to be afraid ever again? It sounds alluring at first. Fear doesn't feel good to the subject of it after all.

For anyone who knows fear though they understand it is more than that negative feeling. It reminds you of...priorities. How you handle fear shows what kind of person you are.

[North isn't usually this long-winded, but he never really expected to side with Pitch so he has to explain his reasons.]

In mean time I could teach you magic that would make that other North's head spin. Magic theory could also create spirits or at least bring them from other planes.
