Not really. Even if someone had been willing to play them, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want my family subjected to Panem any more than I want to be subjected to it myself. I'm not all that sure the other Tributes are ready for me, come to think of it.

Some of them might be more surprised than others, and might take longer to recover. Heibon-kun's thinking Guy-san might be one of those, but his world has bear-owls and piranhakeets, so he could go either way.

And yeah, he's expecting them to get me into spandex, or whatever the uniform for that Arena is, in the time between when they grab me and when they throw me in. [shrug] It'll make me look less vulnerable.

(Although, if I ever end up as a Victor somehow — which I admit isn't likely, but anything's possible — I'll make shoes and accessories the dress code for my Crowning.)

I'm sure you could, and we could have all the wrong kinds of fun doing it. On the other hand, heibon-kun thinks I'd do well in District 7. But I think that's just because their Mentor is the lady who was their returning Tribute in canon, and he can see me saying that line she had in the movie. ^_^

He actually knows all three of them, or at least their canons. And, checking the District association post, he knows Eren-san and Bashir-sensei too, and he's sort of familiar with Watson-sensei and the Disciple. In Nine, he's heard of all of the current Tributes' canons; he doesn't know the guy from The Last of Us, but he does know the game, and he knows a little about Fenton-san and Strider-kun.

[In fact, Five is the only District that doesn't have anyone from a canon I've ever followed a version of. Which, of course, means Néo's probably going to end up there. Then again, I could probably use the challenge, whether I welcome it or not.]

You said it, I didn't. And speaking of challenges, I see that apps are open.

He's having an easier time getting multiple paragraphs out of my canon's story (the basic setting gets a paragraph, as does each of its four acts) than he's having with my personality. And he's bringing in irrelevancies he already came up with, like that the other major all-herm communities are in Sweden and California.

No, the biggest problem we're having is him finding the energy and the ability to stick to one thing for a length of time.

And ouch! [Hug.] He's only had to rewrite my world once, and that was a canon update after ZMA put out the subtitled version. And even then, it was him rewriting it, not the original director. Heibon-kun was just getting some things cleared up that he'd had to guess at watching it in raw Japanese.

After he tried me out in their sandboxes, one of the mods contacted him to pass along requests from the other players that I not get into the actual bar because I was creeping them out. She may have been covering for her own skeeved-itude, but I think he understands.

It's like...I'm sure the Capitol citizens would want to make a big deal about it but most of the tributes could probably care less. After all we've got more entertaining things to worry about like violent death and torture.

But at least he understands why I'm hoping not to be there. And we're both glad I'm not mixed up with this Penny person.
