So - "Wingsville," is it? Just waiting on the final word? I've got to tell you, I'm impressed with the effort you put into the icons and all, but I can't say now is the best time to be taking me from Planet Earth. I mean, sure, a fifteen minute intermission is appreciated for the audience to stretch their legs, but we're heading into the climax now and I'd rather not miss it.
[Molly, honey, you don't really want to go to that Aztec temple, and we both know it. You know it's gonna be bad out there.]
Stop trying to convince me. Whether I want to go or not, I need to do it, and I don't care about those 'foreshadows' you keep trying not to tell me about.
...and the fact that Harry is going to be there really doesn't make a difference. He's just going to want to get back home to save his kid - and that's exactly what we're gonna do. So you can quit making icons now.

[ unnatural? yes. but he is a bit...entranced. ]
...so, I need to get her a paid so I can have a different smiling icon
[And Charity is a very impressive woman in all ways, but trust me in that she would not be all about the flirting here.]
You can call me Molly. And yes, I did.
[Her tone implies a flirty 'do you like them?' but the important part to her is that she does, and she does, so she doesn't ask.]
hahaha.
[ a comfortable name. a name that reminded him of taverns and cheapside. his shoulders relaxed but a little. ]

...it is worth noting, that she's been doing a fair bit of eye-flickering herself. She's good at it, and it feels natural, but she's not looked him in the eyes for longer than a second, and she won't.]
What should I call you?

Richard Sharpe, Miss Molly. Major Richard Sharpe. [ softer: ] Mister Sharpe, if you like.
Or...Richard. [ a hard swallow. she'd gifted him her own name, after all. ]
/different account
Richard... if you like.

I don't expect I'd mind that much, Miss Molly.
and yet-to-be-dyed
Then there's something for both of us to look forward to.
[A flash of a grin, her eyes flickering to his for a moment before away.]
Besides the wings, of course.
/uses her powers of imagination
Mine are meant to be a right muddy brown. But yours, miss? I suspect they'll have to be like some bright bird of paradise's feathers. All colour and joy.
excellent. because this thread is showing me the kind of icons I need to modify next
Mine are to mimic one of my earlier dye jobs. One will be bright blue, and the other candy pink.
[But don't think that she didn't notice the touch of self-depreciation in the compliment as well. The part of Molly that is both genuinely interested in people and constantly observing for strengths and weakness files that away.]

That's right.
[Her choice.]

It's hair dye. Dye just for the hair.

[Who does he think he's talking to here? She takes in the uniform.]
Richard... I'm not quality in any way that makes me have access to hair dye. It's just... an option where I'm from.

[ such a heavenly place it must be. ]

[A smile.]
The United States.
[Because, yes, dat accent lets her know she's talking from someone across the pond.]

Loyalist or revolutionary?

Where I'm from, that's not a question anymore.
[The weird meter just upped a notch or twelve.]
