And I wasn't really even built for his fandom either - so I don't really consider myself a fandom OC but others might since I used to date him. Who knows? I know what you mean about the law shows, though. Mine's been watching one of late, but it's not very good. I like the pink ribbons though.

It would be nice to have colleagues, though, or even a new boss. So I actually know what kind of work I'm doing and who with.

You need to tell her what you want. So she sits down and puzzles it all out. Trust me, it's more important than anything she has to do.

Well, law is complicated—you see, even I know that. And I don't really know how it is in America, but certainly here there's a lot of frippery, like those pink ribbons, and who wears which collar. Is it madam or my lord? Receptionists or clerks?

Easy to make mistakes. To get things wrong. Not surprising people are shy of it.

Well, and apparently over here it's hazardous to your health. One character she liked died last week, and tonight somebody in my ex-boyfriend's firm has a heart attack.

... wait, really? [He's been paying attention, but suddenly it's more acute.] ... hm, people over here are sensitive about heart attacks for some reason... I don't think she's used to people dying in legal dramas. Not in the main cast.

Were they caught, whoever did it?

Presumably. It wasn't made clear in the episode, but I'm pretty sure you can't shoot up a courtroom and not get arrested.

Sounds about right. I've done a bit of debating, not that I have time these days. My cousin and my friends say I never know when to stop talking—or actually, they throw pillows, which is just as good...
