Congratulations. You've remembered that I exist. Now are you going to develop me beyond 'the woman who used to bang Harvey Specter,' or should we both just give up now?

[And cue abrupt change of subject, as the kid asks brightly.] Are you a lawyer?

You see? Complicated. You're really better off without all this awkward development.

I hear you on the, uh, fandom OC thing. I do hear it makes us unpopular.

And yeah, I suppose it does. I don't know, I never got to meet anyone other than Harvey. And I wasn't really even built for his fandom either - so I don't really consider myself a fandom OC but others might since I used to date him. Who knows? I'm just seeing a lot of lawyers around here and well, that's my crowd.

So let's see, what do we know about you? You're Miss Morgan. You're a junior partner—which sounds quite impressive, by the way. You have a brother who's in jail for—what? Not tax evasion, that's dull, and I'd hate my dad to go under that particular bus. How about insider trading?

I know what you mean about the law shows, though. Mine's been watching one of late, but it's not very good. I like the pink ribbons though.

It would be nice to have colleagues, though, or even a new boss. So I actually know what kind of work I'm doing and who with.

You need to tell her what you want. So she sits down and puzzles it all out. Trust me, it's more important than anything she has to do.

Easy to make mistakes. To get things wrong. Not surprising people are shy of it.

Were they caught, whoever did it?

[Time passes; he is clearly conferring with someone offstage.]
All right. He says that doesn't happen here, at any rate. I'd have seen it on the news. But bad for your health, definitely. Have you considered nursing, or—or, gardening perhaps?

Not going to be a problem here, though. She's off to bed. It's been nice talking to you, though. I suppose the only advice I can really give you is ... be careful what you wish for.
