I know you've had a lot going on and difficulties as of late, but try not to forget about me? I don't mean to be troublesome or anything-- I really don't need or even ask for much. I've been content with being an assistant to Mister Braxiatel. I mean, I've been learning more about the universe this way than I did back at the Academy!

It's just that... well, I'd like to do more. You know, go out on an adventure! All of those stories I've read up on about the Doctor, not to mention the ones Miss Leela told us about, it's something I'd really want to do! There's certainly an abundance of places to go what with the Astral Plane and all. And there are loads of people I still want to meet too.

I know, I know you're waiting for things to settle down and I can be patient. Really, I can! Just try not to forget about me again, okay?

He can't just be the Doctor. He's gotta have some other sort of name. Y'know, a proper one?

I don't know his real name but all the stories and books I've found about him know him as the Doctor.

Oh, Lord. Is he a vampire?

Wha- no! He's a Time Lord!

A Time Lord? [ she cracks up. ] You can't honestly expect me to believe that. That's like, sci-fi. Stuff that only exists in the movies. You can't be a lord of time.

[ sookie. honey. you are a fairy. sit down. ]

It's just a name. [ He had to go through this before with Taylor so he's prepared. Sort of. ] Time Lords are one of the few races in the universe that have the ability to travel as well as manipulate time. There are others but Gallifreyans were one of the oldest ones.

Well... to be honest, I haven't been back to the Academy in sometime.

Well over a few months, Madam President. [ Rubbing the back of his neck a little nervously-- ] Mister Braxiatel took me off Gallifrey before some disaster occurred on the planet.

[Romana's face falls at the mention of the 'disaster.']

He was right to do so...

[But her tone more says "I failed you."]

The Doctor, Braxiatel, and Leela. A renegade, a criminal, and a savage. If these are role models for young Time Lords nowadays it's no wonder the planet is falling to ruin.

They've all been very helpful and understanding. I'm grateful to all of them! [ Way to go, Narvin. Way to go. ]

Oh, Braxiatel has been helpful has he?

So naive. What are they teaching in the Academy these days? [Back in *his* day, you learned to mock your fellow students mercilessly and trust no one. Or maybe that was just Narvin's Academy experience.]

Yes sir, he has. [ And he is biting his tongue because one does not argue with high-ranking Time Lords. Even if they are big jerks. ] He's taken me in to help with cataloging his collection as well as to study archaeology.

So when you say that Braxiatel has been helpful what you really mean is that Braxiatel has made you his lapdog. Yes, I can see how that would become wearying after a while.

With all due respect, sir, I prefer the arrangements I have now to when I was in the Academy after what happened to my friends.

Go on then. Throw away a promising career in respectable Time Lord society. Just make sure you don't end up on the wrong side of Gallifreyan law. [None of this interfering with the peoples of the universe business. Only the CIA is allowed to do that.]

There isn't one though. I mean-- Gallifrey. Something happened after I left and now I can't go back, even if I wanted to.

What do you mean you can't go back? True, there are a few...small...problems on Gallifrey right now. [A pandemic that the government was trying to keep quiet about.] But that's all the more reason to show your loyalty. If you must gallivant about the universe, at least accomplish something useful. For Gallifrey. [He adds. Saving alien planets doesn't count.]

You know, the funny thing about the Plane is...[a smile starts to grow on his face]...I can take you on an adventure and have you back in time for dinner! Or breakfast, or even elevensies if the mood strikes you.

And then suddenly it was Christmas for Neeloc.

[ YOU JUST MADE YOUR BIGGEST FAN EVEN HAPPIER. ]

Really, Doctor? Honest and truly? That would be fantastic!

He could make it a *literal* Christmas for him~

Oh yes! [grins] I wouldn't make that offer to just anyone. Just know that it won't be like working on the Collection. [put on a serious face] It will be dangerous--and it will be so much fun. [okay, that serious expression couldn't last long] Just think of a time and place you'd like to see. Anywhere and anywhen! Your choice!

Oh now he's just spoiling him.

Oh, he'll be indulging for his own sake too, but why not share with friends~?

[briefly raises an eyebrow, not believing that for a second. if he got a pence for every time he heard that promise...well, he'd have one hell of a coin collection]

Don't mention it. [claps him on the back] I could do with a holiday after this. I could die in this encounter... [rubs his chin thoughtfully] Not entirely certain what will happen.

He is totally cool with that.

[ His expression was a little surprised to hear this. Granted he knew the Doctor and dangerous went hand in hand, but he hadn't been to the Plane as of late so he was a little behind on things. ] Has something happened?

Of course! I mean, you traveled with the Doctor loads of times before-- The Doctor would never say no to you!
