FFXIII-2 Canon Anyone?
The strongest, holiest blade could not vanquish the demons dwelling within my heart. My transgression shall forever marked in history, I deserve nothing less than to roam as a C'ieth.
Even my maker believes so.
Even my maker believes so.

You failed Yeul and yet you are here to discuss how you had. Your fate is a pathetic one, Gorgyra, Wanderer of Sadness, Songstress of the Damned. Begone!
[His blade is anything but holy and he's not about to waste his time.]

I shall never disappear from this realm of existence, not if I have anything to do with it.
[Literally, she won't. She'll haunt Yaschas Massif forever.]
How is it you've come upon my name, Nomad? How dare her name even slip from your tongue!

[Oh yes, he's not happy to see you at all.]
It was a simple matter of understanding my Focus and I have seen the deeds you have done. Your name was an easy find among the dead that had perished by your hand, Cie'th!

[A cruel smile twisted to her lips.]
You've known my Cie'th form? How is that a possibility?

Die!
[The Revenge of Chaos is hoisted high, his eyes glow red, he smashed the tip of his sword into the ground to send a wave of black energy toward Gorgyra in the attempt to slam her hard against the nearest surface.]
You cannot have her!

I will not die, guardian. I do not wish to see the seeress, she may have forgiven me, but I do not deserve her presence nor her forgiveness. For atonement, I will become Cie'th.
[She stood and kept her body turned to one side, the arm with the shield bonded on faced Caius. Her face softened a little bit, she thought that he was how she used to be, until something happened.]
Why do you wish a duel with me? Out of honor? Threat or perhaps....jealousy?
no subject
Tch.
[He's already of the mind to kill her out of mercy and spare her the life of eternal torment of never dying as a Cie'th. He knows that love has many forms and the fact that Gorgyra isn't ready yet and wants to save her from that terrible fate. While he's never had that threat, he's pretty close to just going full berserk on her without a second thought.
While he's not a mindless killer, he does have his moments. He tucks his sword behind him and shifts to stand though his pace is more like a predator gauging his prey along with a cold and calculating gaze.]
It is out of mercy. Your torment has been suffered long enough. You loved Yeul, I know of this, but you failed her by sheltering her from the world. As Guardians, we are prepared for the day she dies and await her rebirth. It is the way the cycle has always been.
[He stops in his steps and faces her squarely.]
I can release you from this fate and send you into the Chaos with another chance at another life though you will never be Guardian again.

Mercy is too far above what I deserved. I was deceived, guardian. I nearly had her slaughtered out of my stupidity, even if she forgave you...what would you do?!
[She placed her hand over her heart.]
You cannot release me from the guilt rising within me.
no subject
[Oh he knows it. He's been deceived as well but instead of walling in his pity, he's actually doing something about it. Being immortal has its privileges. So, he scoffs.]
Hmph, perhaps not, and so I will do nothing to release you. I have no inclination in becoming your savior when you had resigned yourself to a fate of everlasting torment, Cie'th.
[With this said, he walks away and doesn't look back.]
