Oh, what's brought this on, then? Thought you were well and truly done with me. Or maybe that was just wishful thinking.
What are you going to do now, hmm? Any plans in particular? No?
You know I can tell what you're thinking. And you are thinking about something, so I really think you should just say it. It would save us all some time.

Now the question is, is she thinking what you're thinking or are you thinking what she's thinking?
no subject
[ If you keep that up, Jenny, you'll give him a colossal headache. ]
I'm not even sure, only I do know she had the thought first, so I suppose that's something.
[ The mind is a confusing thing, and trying to find correlations between two minds is even more confusing. ]
You're there, though, aren't you? At this Adstringendum place?
no subject
Well yeah. Suppose that would mean you're certainly thinking what she's thinking in that case.
[Oh, she knows~]
I am. Been there for quite awhile. Why? Got some questions about it?
no subject
Suppose so, yeah.
[ And he's done with that particular line of thought, because trying to reason it out is really giving him a headache. It's just a bit too slippery for him. ]
What's it like? I don't think it's at all unreasonable to want to know what a place is like before going there.
no subject
[Before she starts, she wants to make sure she's not repeating.]
no subject
[ And that's a first for him. ]
I don't suppose you can tell me something about it?
no subject
[Hmm, now where to start, because there's a lot to cover in regards to Adstring.]
It kind of looks like an abandoned or destroyed city of sorts, and it's a lot of scavenging for resources. But there's some really cool things too. Like the great wall. That's impressive, and it's amazing what people can come together and come up with there.
Then there's the Animus. Kind of like gods or spirits. They like causing a bit of trouble since they're as stuck there as everyone else is.
no subject
[ In his curiosity about this place, he hasn't yet realized he doesn't even know her name. But it'll come about in time. ]
Hmm, a destroyed city; sounds a bit depressing, doesn't it? [ He pauses to take this all in. ] Now when you say these spirits cause trouble, what exactly do you mean?
no subject
[That's alright. She doesn't mind.]
Well, the destroyed city part certainly can be, but the trouble the Animus cause can often keep you on your toes. The most recent thing for instance was a Scavenger hunt. Didn't start out to bad. Just little things like a yo-yo, or dragon's blood. The Animus got bored though, and they decided to spice it up. They sent out a second list that was asking for things like people's eyes, or their souls, or feet. They started messing with some people a bit, so those who might not normally play the game were forced to by being made more aggressive and willing. It was chaos. When the even was over, anyone that lost were punished.
[She should know. She was one of them.]
no subject
But you haven't been alone, have you? There are others, as you said.
[ He frowns, though, because that doesn't sound the least bit pleasant, and if that's the sort of place he's bound for, then he's not going to take to it very well at all. ]
And what happens if someone decides that isn't all right? What happens if you fight?
no subject
[Well, it's not, but he'd certainly be kept busy.]
Depends on their moods, but usually they either ignore it or it just gets worse in the end. It's not without trying though. We've just got to figure out how to be more clever.
no subject
[ He grins a little. ]
It's a good thing I'm clever, then, isn't it?
[ He's not trying to be arrogant; he just knows he has a brain and he plans on using it. ]
no subject
[She laughs more.]
Oh, so full of yourself, aren't you?
no subject
no subject
Well, seeing as how she's got you fully enmeshed in another one of these games, I thought the chances of her remembering me were just about zero. I suppose I was wrong.
no subject
There's something to be said for youth, I think. Well. Younger.
Still, could be fun. I might even see you there, if my mun here gets cracking.
no subject
I always do, of course, but that isn't the point.
no subject
Sorry.
Yeah. I know it won't be all fun, but if you can't find something about the whole thing to enjoy,..even one small, teeensy little thing...Well. There's no point in it, really.
no subject
Well, of course there'd be no point then. [ He's not a total stick in the mud. ] The thing about these places seems to be that once you're there, there's no leaving, so if that's true, then it makes sense to find something to do.
no subject
[He loves you too, Nine. Really.]
No, no point at all, really. You can think you're done with, might even believe it, then back you are again! Strong as ever!
no subject
Right, but you haven't even left yet, have you?
[ He doesn't regret that his time is technically over. He was ready, after all. ]
no subject
Or people.
You're not afraid, are you, Doctor?
no subject
[ Whether it's with a certain person or a certain game, the Doctor is well aware that his writer has a penchant for going back to old things. ]
I'm not afraid, no. Why, should I be?
no subject
[wait.] No.
Hm, maybe. It depends on when you'll go and where you'll go. And all the people there. There are things that even I can't see.
Strange.
no subject
[ Why he's inquiring of the Moment is a bit beyond him, but no matter. ]
no subject
Wait no, sorry. Future. I'm always confusing those two.
Such a strange world. I cannot help beyond that.

[She can't help but give a small smile at that.]
