Now don't get cute on me. Ya were havin' a bit too much fun with all that. Let's agree not ta talk about the morbid situation back home for a long while, yeah? Figure so long as our dear friends Smile and Black don't pop up in Johto, we should do just fine on that front.

Speakin' of, that went better than I thought it would, won't lie. With Suit gone, it's nice to have a familiar face about and Snake's a good friend ta have around even if he is a bit quiet. But that's fine, wouldn't have him any other way.

Now if only more a the troupe were there... I know you've seen Wendy and Peter on that tumblr place, but let's try a bit more close ta home, huh? Even if we haven't seen anyone 'round here either...

Well, I'm lookin' a bit on the deceased side a things, so I've certainly moved on in one way~.

Snake did, actually, considerin' for some reason, yer master neglected ta tell him the little fact a me bein' dead. Funny, since he supposedly promised ta help Snake find me.

No, I expect he didn't. {It's very difficult for him not to laugh. Suit - William - truly rubs him the wrong way.} Why did he need to know of that? My Master was only following the orders of Her Majesty Queen Victoria.

Snake was far more useful in his oblivious state. {He doesn't sound the least apologetic.}

[Which comment that's a response to is anybody's guess. Joker isn't pleased regardless, no matter the smile forced onto his lips.]

Doll! Now there's a face I didn't think I'd be seein' for a while!

[Not for lack of hoping, mind you, but, well, Joker's come to terms with the fact that his troupe isn't around these parts very often. Makes seeing his family all the more exciting.]

Imma rookie with me Mun, but she saw ye and couldn't take me pesterin' her to let me out. { Her laugh is more than a little mischievous. } It's good to see ya! What 'ave you been up to?

[Hearing that just makes him laugh.]

Try not ta drive her too mad, now. As for myself, been at one of those games for a few months! Was on my own for a while, but Snake just came back. What a relief ta see him, I'll tell ya.

Been makin' some friends, but it ain't the same without the rest a ya.

[No one can replace his family, after all.]

I can't make any promises. Y'know I don't like being on my own. { There's no one to cuddle with! 8( } 'ow's Snake doin'? Are all of his friends accounted for?

{ She likes his snakes. Their different personalities are kind of cute. In their own way. }

'Fraid not. Things are a bit tricky over there, but 'course he met some new friends. Aaah, lessee... [Joker raises a hand and starts to count on his fingers.] Elizabeth, John, Ruskin, an' Gaskell are the ones I've met or heard about.

[Then one of his bright grins.]

In fact, got a few friends a my own I'd like ya ta meet.

Sounds like he's got a right crowd on his hands! { Which is how it should be. She beams back at him. } An' what are their names? I'd love ta meet them if you call them friends.

[Winking at her, he holds up one hand and gives a flick- just a bit of basic sleight-of-hand so that some very tiny red and white balls are between his fingers. And then, with a small flash of red light-]

[Apparently he's been busy in his game.]

{ Omgomgomgomg they're all so cute! Doll leans down, giving them her brightest, most welcoming smile. She even attempts to pet them. }

I kin tell these are strong allies~. I hope you're takin' good care of Joker. He's a good lad who has taken care of many others - includin' me! I wan' him to be happy.

[Jeez, Doll... You're gonna make him blush at this rate. The little Mime Jr. sitting on one of his feet already is, pleased and happy.]

Cor, that's givin' me too much credit, I think. Beast and yerself always do.

[At least most of the other Pokemon seem to be happy to see her- good moods are contagious and they all are very fond of Joker as it is. There's a couple of shy ones who stay behind, but at least the affectionate Zebstrika make up for it.]

Everyone in the game starts off with one of 'em, although it's different for every person. With me and Snake plus that, no way ya would be alone, I can promise ya that.

{ It's okay for him to blush! He deserves the praise. She wouldn't be here without him. }

An' we're not gonna stop neither. { She waves at the shy Pokemon before tickling the Zebstrika. } I'd like to see which one suits me! I'd take good care of 'em.

{ Her expression softens. }

[Like a mirror, so does his own look and he makes his way through the small throng of creatures to pat her head.]

Me and Snake need ya, I know that fer a fact. Yer the star a the show and, more importantly if ya asked me, a precious part of my family.

Been tellin' anyone who'd listen about ya, actually.

You...ya do? { Small tears spring into her eyes. } Then I'll come right away! As fast as I can!

{ She giggles over the small Mime Jr. and gives them a hug. }

[Joker's confident about that, too. He has an eye for talent- kind of have to in his work- and he's well aware who amongst their group comes off the best when not putting on an act. When it comes to first impressions, well... Beast and Jumbo are a bit too intimidating. Peter and Wendy? Mischievous at best and abrasive at worst. Snake, good a kid as he is, is just a bit too aloof even if it is simply shyness at its heart.]

[But Doll? She's practically a shining star. There's no way any blood relative of his, whoever they are, could ever match up to her.]

If ya need any help there, I'll be sure ta be right nearby~.

You're too nice to me sometimes. { It's her turn to blush and scratch the back of her neck awkwardly. } I learned 'ow to be the way I am from you an' the rest of the troupe. Sour pusses don't work for dolls.

{ Though she is just fine looking haughty when she is in costume. That's fun. }

[And that's the truth. Settling down and patting the flaming unicorn that's nearby (something he will never get over and shamelessly adores), he grins to Doll.]

So, any idea what yer gonna start out with? That's always a fun bit a business.

We're thinkin' 'bout Deerling. I thought bout a flyin' one, but the deer makes me happy!

I've heard about those ones, but I haven't got one myself! Well it certainly fits ya~. I'm sure the two a ya will get along great.
