About yesterday's unscheduled visit to the hospital

All right, obviously I want you to be okay, and I'm not really upset with you. It's not like you wanted to have to rush to the doctor. I'm just frustrated that it happened yesterday right at a hugely important moment for me. Do you know how hard it is to find Justin? That man's like a fucking unicorn. A really handsome unicorn.

And I never did get my pizza.

Go lay down and get better soon. I'm just frustrated at the situation, that's all.

[Seriously now.] We haven't labeled it, but his mun and mine play us together pretty regularly.

So at least in that line it'd be a pretty low thing of me to admit that you're cute when I'm in love with your co-worker.

[Karen laughs.] No, I didn't know what to expect when I met him, but he's been surprisingly sweet.

[She laughs, okay whatever she and Severide have isn't perfect, but it's good. She only has to consider how he always asks about her day, or how he's accepted the fact that she's a single mother, to know that.]

He made this cute little noise and rolled over into my chest. It was actually kind of hilarious.

Maybe you and I could do something together sometime? I don't see why we can't at least be friendly if I'm going to be around the firehouse. Or if that would be weird for you, I have other versions of me that I play in memes.

I know. It was just supposed to be a fling when we met, but he's become really good for me. And my son.
