Mun. Look, the librarian said that the dimension and timestream have probably been damaged beyond repair already, just from everyone arriving at the Garden properly. That is: popping into this world, and then just staying here for keeps. He's already pretty sure that returning any of us home at this point would destroy reality.
Don't you think people popping in and out whenever they please is going to be a little more disastrous than the one-way trips most of us want?
