It's a bad idea, anyway. Just because you're almost caught up with backtags, it doesn't mean you have time for me and that other guy who you already have there. Especially if I can't save... Hiyori... [ "..." ] Even if those two, Takane and... Haruka are there, [ it's still weird to not call him "Konoha"... ] do you really think even Hiyori and oba-sa -- er, Momo -- would ever arrive to that place?

I can't just sit around like before! Because if... Hiyori's still... I've got to save her! [ DETERMINED!! LOOK!! Complete with a brief flash of red in his eyes. ]

-- Besides, our anime doesn't even air until April... [ well, at least it wasn't August 15th... or August 14th ] and you'll have to canon update me as it goes. You should just wait until then! ...The manga's route will probably end like that too, anyway... even if you take me from there! And you should still wait for more chapters to come out. So we can see what happens to... Hiyori. This time. So I can figure out how to save her...

Hibiya, what's wrong? ( She almost regrets the playful punch. )

[ Hiyori's... here. She remembers Momo, so -- probably, she's from just before the accident...

...HER HAND IS ON HIS--?! Out of general awkwardness when around her and blushing furiously, he carefully reaches up to gently nudge her arm down, again in reassurance more than anything -- the Hibiya from before would have been mentally jumping in joy to have Hiyori touch him at all, but the Hibiya now... it's like he suddenly saw her come back to life before his very eyes -- even if she didn't die "yet" to begin with. ]

I-I'm fine! [ he'd add "don't worry!" but she'd probably just retort with something like "I wasn't worried!" ] It's just...

I thought I'd never see you again, unless I...!

[ those aren't tears at the corners of his eyes, nope. (They're tears of happiness, anyway...!) ]

[ Don't mind him as he quickly reaches up his hand to his face to smudge those tears away... He can't lose it in front of Hiyori now, he should be strong for her! He'll even give a lopsided grin back at her smile. ]

[ he'd never get rid of her! Gradually, the shaking begins to lessen, too. ]

...I will. [ "stop being stupid", he means. ] Uh -- "that place"... someone said it was called "Holly Heights"?

[ he's still uncertain. Because of Hiyori's sudden appearance before him, but also ] It sounds like somewhere in America...

( When he flashes the lopsided grin, Hiyori feels her shoulders ease, her smiles becoming more genuine. This is the Hibiya she knows. )

And you were going all the way to America without me? ( The only downside of being reunited? Her fist collides with his opposite shoulder this time, her features lighting up in her excitement. ) When are we going? ( Never mind that he had no intentions on going. )

.. You really are okay? ( It's a little softer as she glances away. )

[ "Without" her?! -- wait, OW... he's happy at her reaction, but he also yelped and grips the shoulder she just hit, wincing. ]

Of course not, if you were here...! Which, uh, you are, now -- But -- er, that's the part I'm unsure about. Mid-April would make the most sense, but...

[ he raises his gaze to stare at her more firmly, now, his wincing also lessening and stance straightening. He trails off there to answer the current question -- ]

[ especially now that she's here, whole and healthy and bright and... not dead. It's like a dream come true that's... actually true. ]

[ Saving her? The one she's trying to save is Hibiya. Refusing to dwell and repeat that subject of those terrible, cycling "dreams", she tries to focus on something else. Every time she told him about it, she'd see his worrying, sad face.

[ The shock of seeing a second Hiyori here causes him to stare stupidly for a few long moments -- until her question registers. His shocked look turns into a wobbly grin, and he lowers his head, his hair covering his eyes for a moment. He can't cry again, he'd worry her. ]

Y-Yeah. You are... [ it's really like a dream... ]

[ never mind that two Hiyoris about means... how can he choose between two of her?!! well, he'll deal with that thought later... ]

Um -- "Holly Heights". In... America. I think. I'm not fully sure how this place works, yet...

[ a beat ] I haven't met Momo here, though. [ Yet. ]

[ Stare in shock as long as you like. What's up with that dumb look, Hibiya? No wonder he's unpopular. She remains deadpan as usual though, patiently allowing him to say what he needs to. ]

America? Why are you thinking of going all the way there?

[ She sneers, letting out a little "hmph". Despite it, she likes spending her time here to talk with him. ]

If Momo-san isn't even there, then I have no reason to arrive in a place like that.

[ Harsh as always, Hiyori... but isn't that what he'll put up with as long as he can be with her? ]

[ he sighs, now, but then he's smiling too. ] I see what you mean, though... -- she might be around here, I just haven't seen her.

[ he likes spending his time with her, too, of course... especially now that she's... "alive". So, he'll try to keep the conversation going, and on topic. Even if she continues to brush him off, he doesn't want her to leave, yet. ]

Um... do you want to sit down, somewhere? [ maybe they should move to a better spot... perhaps not that park, though. ]

And a smile is better to see. Outwardly, all Hiyori gives is a quiet blank look. Even if she knows the reason for him to smile, if she were to open her mouth now, she might ask what's with that smile? What are you thinking of? Gross. She doesn't look at Hibiya with a brightly shining face like she does with Momo, Konoha or... a cat. But at least she's here. And he's here with her too.

Hiyori's almost considering calling Momo up on the phone, but decides against it. Momo might be busy, being an idol. It would also crash Hibiya's hopes and dreams of being able to talk with only the two of them. But she idly scrolls through the contacts list on her phone. ]

Yeah. Find a place to sit. [ For them. It sounds almost like a command. Go pick a place for her as long as it's not the park. ] Maybe Momo-san will show up here later.

but that's just another part of her lovely ojou-sama like personality...!

[ Easy for Hiyori to say... yet even with that look of hers, he nods, looking (maybe surprisingly) more relaxed. ]

I'll do that, right.

[ he turns to survey the surrounding area... walking down the pathway, just a bit, but not too far. There's a nice white bench somewhere over there, underneath a shady tree (and the branches don't look so thick and huge that they'd be fatal if one "accidentally" fell...) so he'll point to it -- ]

That should be good for you. [ a smaller smile, now. ] Right? It's in the shade, so you can stay out of the sun? [ not even for him, for her! He just wants her to be comfortable. And... not annoyed with him. Or too annoyed, anyway. ] Or there's that grassy spot over there...

[ behind the tree is a more grassy field that extends out (probably to an unfortunate park), but grass probably means dirt, and Hiyori wouldn't want her clothes to possibly get dirty, right? ]

Or we can keep walking and look for someplace better... or go inside somewhere?

[ does she want somewhere with air conditioner...? Or food? ]

...yes. HIYORI IS AN ANGEL, CLEARLY.......

[ Following Hibiya, she takes a look at their options. ]

Are you stupid? [ One look at that grassy spot and Hiyori's eyes turn into an admonishing glare at Hibiya for considering that revolting area as one of their options. He was right about her not wanting to make her clothes dirty. ] That grassy spot is filthy.

[ So she picks their best choice so far: the bench. There's space for both of them to sit! How gross for Hiyori. Lucky for Hibiya.

She flattens the bottom of her dress, sitting down. ]

A better place would be somewhere with snacks.

[ Is there anything like that in this place? It seems like it would be far. And she doesn't feel like walking very far. ]

Don't worry about it. That place isn't so bad right? Your player could pick worse places for you.

[Shounen time!!] As long as you don't give up, you can think of ways to get back to her. Rushing off like you did won't do her any good.

I -- know that! I won't give up...!

[ but then he deflates a bit, looking guilty for his outburst. ]

I guess it could be worse...
