You know, I think you're far too amused by the indication that I have a sex life. It's lovely and all -  the sex, I mean, not your amusement - but I'm a grown woman and so are you and so I really don't think all that laughing and carrying on was necessary. It's embarrassing. And probably also unhealthy.

I think I liked you better when you thought I spent most of my nights watching Glee re-runs with Toby.

... though I guess there was a small sense of satisfaction in knowing that I rendered Sherlock speechless for a few seconds.

Well... this person kidnaps John - theoretically to get at Mary for some reason. What if he then attacked the Major - getting at John to get to Mary...

You know I don't doubt you, Sherlock, I never have, but don't you think it all sounds a bit... I don't know... needlessly complicated?

Or... Unbelievably simple. Think about it: If I hadn't solved the crime and John not saved the life, it would have been the perfect murder. Major Sholto's enemies would have a victory and this person would succeed it taking away John's for... ex-commanding officer, along with making me look bad for not figuring it out.

This is something... I don't know. More sinister than even Moriarty was....

Or you could just be, you know.... [Paranoid.] Looking for things to be clever when they're not. Again, not doubting you. Just... seeing both sides of things.
