Spoilers for "The Sign of Three" in comments, probably.
You know, I think you're far too amused by the indication that I have a sex life. It's lovely and all - the sex, I mean, not your amusement - but I'm a grown woman and so are you and so I really don't think all that laughing and carrying on was necessary. It's embarrassing. And probably also unhealthy.
I think I liked you better when you thought I spent most of my nights watching Glee re-runs with Toby.
... though I guess there was a small sense of satisfaction in knowing that I rendered Sherlock speechless for a few seconds.

[Well, Sherlock is Sherlock, after all. He offers a small smile, he's teasing, as much as he teases anyway.]
no subject
[She can abide the teasing, though the smile she offers him in return is a small one.] And a lot's changed since you've been gone, Sherlock. I sort of thought that was obvious.

Are you saying that having lots of sex has fixed everything for you?
[Even if she starts to speak, he will talk over here.]
Because statistically, it tends to only fix things temporarily, then it causes more problems than what you had before...
no subject
[Give her credit. At least she's not as red as she might've been two years ago.]
I'm not saying that Tom's... 'fixed' everything. It was time that did that. Though... I like to think Tom helped a little. Or more than a little.

[He shifts his weight slightly.]
Like John and I... only not like us at all, because we don't do... that.
[He makes an awkward gesture to indicate 'sex.']
no subject
Sort of. I mean... yes. Intimacy isn't just physical, after all. People change us. It's what they do.

[Yes, she's being willfully ignorant. Because she's moved on. Clearly.]
no subject
Nnnno.
[But that's all you're getting about that, Molly, because now he's thinking maybe she doesn't know about the Irene thing and how they actually showed the entire stag night and --
Embarrassment. Embarrassment was what he was going for, but anyway, moving on.]
Mundanes think about that sort of thing too much as it is. Although apparently not yours.
no subject
My mundane thinks about more than I care to bring up, really. The number of times she hits pause to point and laugh and make half-baked 'deductions' is sort of ridiculous.

... um... not that that makes hers true, of course.

And that's the only reason for you wanting to tell him something like that, yeah? Because you've definitely move on. How's ole Tom by the way? [He's grinning like the cat who got the canary. Oh yes, he remembers Tom's theory during the best man speech.]
no subject
Tom's just fine, thank you. We're going to meet some of his friends from out of town at a pub this weekend. You're welcome to come along, if you'd like.
no subject
I think I'll have to bow out of this one, actually, but thanks for the invite.
no subject
Oh? Please tell me you're not working! You always seem to be working these days.
no subject
What? It's my job, Molly - can't help it if I'm a bit dedicated, you know. And anyway, with Sherlock back now... well, things have been turning up for the better. I can solve cases just fine on my own, actually, but you know [he shrugs a shoulder] it's nice having the extra backup again.
no subject
I know; I'm not saying you should just ignore your job. I'm the last person to say something like that, really. I just... well....
You deserve to have a good time, too. Away from the craziness we call our lives.
