but what if i want to play with people who don't hate me
She tosses her hair back, laughing. "Oh I knew you couldn't resist me. The other one was too soft, wasn't he? A fascinating creature, sure, but so weak. What a waste. You should have picked me from the start." A flawless starlet smile.
"I know your kind. You want blood and I'm a better outlet. For all your talk of peace and good will on Earth, you humans are such a vicious race." The smile deepens, uncomfortably intimate. "I can give you what you want, mun. Provided you give me what I want. Teamwork, that's what it's all about, isn't it? I'll work with you and we can have a little fun."
She pulls back, winks. "See? Easy. There's no need to be unreasonable."

*_* Taylor omg
hello good guy counterpart!
Your PB choice makes me so happy. Also jsyk, Rachel is from post books here : ) (expect gloating )
A slow mirthless smile curves her lips.]
You haven't been around here long, have you? I guess you're not familiar with how some people are from different points in time.
it was a trial trying to avoid any who weren't rachels (or loren) but it worked out nicely
It sure is a good thing the Sub-Visser isn't at the stage of trying to pass as a member of the Peace Movement because what a waste of time.
Yeah I bet! I took forever deciding on Rachel before going with the TV actress haha
It's not hard to guess what war Taylor's alluding to and she rolls her eyes.]
Actually, humans are pretty tired of being in the middle of Andalites and Yeerks trying to destroy each other all the time, so I don't think we'll be stepping in any time soon.
Oh and by the way I am a human. There was only one Andalite in the 'Andalite bandits.' Five humans and one Andalite. That was the force that kept the planet Earth from invasion, destroyed the Yeerk empire, and brought the Vissers to their knees. [So maybe it didn't go quite that smoothly and they definitely had some help and a lot of pure luck, but Taylor needs to know. Her Yeerk needs to know who it was that kept the Yeerk empire busy for three years holding off the complete take over of their planet.]
Not that there'd even be a war to step into. [At least, from what she's been told. It's not as though she's been around to see it, but that's another detail that isn't necessary to share.]
i love her! headcanon rachel tbh
She ticks them off in the hand not wrapped around a Dracon beam. Oh, when did she pick that up?
"One. Your people would never condescend to give the morphing ability to any other species, even if they were willing to fight for you. You would sooner wipe them out in your selfish, wasteful arrogance." Coldly, humor gone, "Two. The form you are in is a mere child, or in all this time haven't you gotten to know the local species well enough to recognize that? A weak, soft child is your best idea of a soldier? What's to stop me from wiping you out. Right. Now."
Same, I kept coming back to her and finally just made her the PB
You're right, they didn't, but one dying Andalite did. In fact, the rest of the Andalites were pretty pissed when they found out but it was a little too late and honestly, I didn't really care. Their superiority complex gets really old.
[Her eyes narrow even as she keeps her smile in tact.]
Yeah, your empire was defeated by six children. That's gotta sting. [Again her eyes flicker to the Dracon beam and she shakes her head in cold amusement.]
You're not in Kansas anymore, honey. Nothing you do here has any effect on our universe. You could shoot me dead here and I'll just come back, and nothing you do is going to change the fact that in our universe, you're already one dead crazy bitch.
oh god i'm so sorry, roll for damage bc it's totes cool with me if yours dodges or w/e you want
[ With no more preamble than that, she aims with an air of long practice and shoots Rachel. Phasers are not set on stun. Sure, it will be a waste of a perfectly suitable body, but who's going to object? Visser Three? She's sick of interrogations and she's sick of this human! As she pulls the trigger, she crows in a super-sane manner, no really, ] Who's the dead crazy bitch now!
LMAO this is the best, please excuse my 4th wall breaking magic I have never done action on DM XD
Well that was...convenient.
She looks down at herself and then back at Taylor.]
Still you. And now we can add useless to the list.
awesome! yeah i've never had one both murderous and impulsive enough to try this before
[ Considering everything Rachel has been saying about who and what she is, it's not the best idea to take this to hand-to-hand.
Yeah no, like Taylor was paying any attention to any of that. She half-stalks, half-lunges towards the other girl, swinging at her head with the Dracon beam as a club. ] What did you do? Why won't you people just die?! Die, Andalite filth! Die!
Ahaha Taylor certainly is a special one, and your Taylor is perfect btw!!!
I think you're a lot of things, but 'useless' is a new addition! Mostly I would have gone with sadistic psychopathic creep!
[Rachel pushes back, attempting to disengage.]
I'm not an Andalite, you moron, and none of us are going to lay down and die so get used to it.
ah thank you! she's alarmingly easy to slip into
Fine, you're not an Andalite! I don't care! [, she spits out through a bleeding mouth. There's pretty much no way those stuck-up embodied jerks would play at being a ~lesser being~ for so long anyway. That brings about some complications, though. Like actually dealing with Rachel's fakety fake fake story about the Bandits. Does the sub-visser really want to deal with that?
Maybe she'll just try and spray Rachel in the face with her fake arm and call it coping. ] Auuuughhhhhh! [And follow that immediately with trying to scratch her eyes out, because obviously that didn't work. If it had, she'd be frozen too. It's not like she takes the antidote every morning.
She also attempts a headbutt, possibly to greater effect.
There isn't an end in sight, so the mun will probably force her to back off and think things through next round to save on futility. Teamwork when one party has perfect control over the other can only go so far. That's irony, Yeerk.]
haha I love the 'alarmingly.' Man these two...
It's different fighting in a human body, less fluid, weaker, wrong but if the Dracon beam wasn't working she knows she won't be able to go grizzly either.]
Just come at me again, I dare you! I swear I'll meet you anytime, any place away from here and we'll finish this for real. [Her heart is racing, and her veins are filled with adrenaline, but she takes a step back.
They'd won. The war is over. They'd already won and Taylor is dead.
The thought sobers her.
It was difficult (though evidently not impossible) to be angry at a crazy dead girl.]
although let's face it. there was almost no way violence wasn't going to happen
<Don't be stupid. No one wants to die. We're not going to die.>
Taylor brushes them aside, sneering imperiously. There's an impressive bruise blossoming across the side of her face that is still mostly flesh.]
I'll take you on, human. How will your wonderful future happen if you are dead or one of ours?
You think your morphing will help you? We have more tricks than you know. That pretty body of yours won't be yours for long - that will be a future worth living in.
With these two it was inevitable
She doesn't fire back at Taylor's comments, instead going silent for a while.]
This place is different, you know. It's not like being there, but it's a kind of life. No matter what happens back there. [She isn't sure if the words are aimed at the girl or the yeerk or both, but it's strange to try and comfort her. Strange, but better than seeing that expression again that somehow reminds her way too much of David's last moments.]
oops, we angsted. little bit. wrapping up?
Of course [, she says, unsmiling and not as harshly as she'd like, ] But that doesn't change who I am. What we are. [ And whether she means her host and herself or the Yeerk race, well. It's probably not the latter. She's no weak-willed peace movement traitor. She tosses he hair back, self-consciously. ]
So save your pity. Wherever I am, I'll still be working for the good of the empire so don't get too comfortable with your delusional future. Luck and traitors can't see you through every time. [ That's almost respectful, for her.
Be my Elfangor. We can have a cosmic hatemance worthy of epics and in the end, I'll eat you in front of everyone you love but your dying actions will hound the rest of my existence and eventually prove to be my undoing.
That is definitely not a thing that Taylor thinks, even a little. ]
This thread is awesome. Yeah I think wrapping up sounds good.
I don't pity you, Yeerk. [But she does pity Taylor, more than she'd like.] It works both ways. Whereever I end up, war or not, I'll be there to defend the human race. You should hope that we don't meet because trust me when I say, I don't need luck to take care of business.
[She smirks but it lacks the venom from before, more an acknowledgement than a promise of violence. Mostly at least.]
high fives all around
[Taylor holds her haughty expression like a television anchor until the multiverse wraps around the encounter and separates them at last. No more sign of the human rebel and the disconcerting way she had looked at them, looked at her host, in the end. Taylor bends down to retrieve the fallen Dracon beam.
< What is it? >
< I think I like her. >
<You can like her if you want. But if we have the chance, you will help me take her. >
< I. Yes. >
TSEEEW! TSEEEW! Brightness lances across the darkness. Hm, it seems just fine now. Everything... seems just fine. ]
