Gunmax, calm down. There's going to be an . . . an incident coming up very soon. An extremely dangerous criminal is going be escaping from prison. He's incredibly powerful even by the Cybertronians' standards, far beyond anything you or I have ever faced yet. It took . . . a lot to take him down and arrest him the first time, from what I'm told. He got Drill Boy . . . Power Joe told me. Drill Boy's fine now, but . . . neither of them are usually at the police headquarters, and if I'm there, it means McCrane probably won't be either. I'm going to be recovered, I already know that, and I'd rather it be me than one of the others.

[Of course, that doesn't do Sentinel Prime or Rose any good . . . if he could spare them too, he would.]

It's not that. It's just . . . Haven's not very big, as far as places go. It's widely spread out, but in terms of population, I don't think there are more than four or five dozen of us "refugees" all told. Being a member of what police force there is isn't like back home. It's not a full-time job. More like being on call on an as-needed basis.

Fun . . . no. But it's not been boring. We've been kept pretty busy. I hadn't been there a week when an incredible maelstrom tore through Haven, leaving a massive amount of damage . . . and a stone pillar in the center that radiated evil magic. It had a wide variety of dire effects on a number of the populace that lasted about two weeks… [There's an almost haunted look in his optics as he looks back up at Gunmax.] You don't want to know what it did to Kagerou. The main effects finally wore off, but the Pillar remained and continued to cause problems. A little over a month ago, a group of us finally went in to destroy the Pillar. We were successful, but there was a backlash. We've spent the past month basically recovering.

I MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE BEEN EYEBALLIN' THAT ONE. WITH THE ROBOTS. MAYBE.
