[When she mentions how long she went without them, Reno actually looks a little abashed. Elena was as close to a little sister as he'd ever gotten, and he didn't like to think of her without any of ~~her family~~ the Turks for so long.]

[His shrug mirrors hers. When she goes through the short list of who else is in the city, he pays close attention; adjusting his goggles almost awkwardly when she mentions Aerith (and Zack, damn), and letting his jaw fall slack when she lets slip that there's Sephiroth. And Genesis.]

[It would probably break his little Turk heart to know just how long she went without another Turk. All she had was Rufus to keep her busy before even he was returned to Gaia.]

[Because to get her whole family is actually both a great thing and a horrifying thing. To lose them would be very, very terrible.]
