and it started
Are we going to have more fun soon?
It's been a while! I'm getting bored, and you've hardly let me out all that much lately. There's snow, and sparkly things, and lights, and all sorts of other decorations-- I've missed tea time so many times and it's simply not fair. I miss them; I remember to miss them! It's not fair, it's not fair, it's not fair!
Will you let me play with Kevin? The nice one that smells like Mocha Road after he's rolled in wet grass, not the grumpy one. He's not as much fun- not unless I feel like picking on him, he makes the most amusing angry faces. Isn't it time for another 'bonding' outing? It's almost time for tea as well! I don't want to miss my own tea party.
So, can I play?
I miss them. I miss my Rabbit.

Overrated by a lot. I do miss you, knowing you'll be back or not. Here or not.

A lot of Baskervilles are coming.

[That would be a yes, and that would also be the Chain getting a lovely scritch at his ears like such a good cat.]
It's been so long since I've seen you.

Can I stay with you? [He nudges his nose against her cheek, the bell jingling around his neck.]
no subject
So very, very much.
no subject
I'm listening. I'll always listen. [Because he's a good, loyal kitty.] Have you been safe?
no subject
You have always been a good listener. [Fingers moving through hair and against darling ears.] I have, a family took me in at the place I was sent. A lovely family, made of people so much kinder than those who find their way into the Abyss.
no subject
And he isn't sure what to make of that.
"...what would you want to play?"

You kno how to make snowballs, right Kevin?
no subject
[He usually only throws them when he's being an ass, but -- this will be his first winter as a werewolf. He may yet fling them at people just for the fun of it.]
no subject
[That's not exactly the game but it' what she got out of it.]

[Kevin can see this ending badly. He's a little old to be harassing children that weren't given to him to harass, and angry parents are a thing too. Um. Uhhhhh. Hm.]
You could come to the farm, too. We have whole fields full of snow. I bet we could build barricades and trenches and forts and have a whole war, with all that snow.
no subject
[Said boys are usually teenagers, but hey still boys to her.]
A snow war?

[Guess who discovered Batman during the last modern event and very quietly kept it to himself, because he's aware that it's silly to dress up like a bat and fight crime. Um.]
Mm. We could have teams, even. Set people up on opposite sides of the field and you have to conquer the other side, or whatever.

[Na na na na na na na na BATDOG.]
That sounds awfully fun.

I've Rabbit if I've any need for a knight now. Grumpy Kevin makes scrunchy faces a lot, unless he's scared then he just goes palem and wide-eyed, or scrambles to get away.

It's a bit of a common thing, isn't it~

Really, that boy's more of a brat than anything near a knave. A spoiled, rotten, terrible brat. A pity Hatter didn't end him instead of my poor Cheshire.
no subject
I would offer my help, but I'm afraid I'm of little use stuck in a headspace. But I would never not help out when it concerns a fellow Cheshire.
no subject
Nope nevermind all cheery and sweet again.] Stuck is what you make of it! My Cheshire was -is in some times- a very good kitty. He was all I had for company for so very long, even if that wretch of a boy tried to take him away from me once.
Are you another Cheshire like a young woman I met was another Alice?
no subject
Yes, I am. You're not from a type of Wonderland like the one I'm from, are you?
no subject
I'm from the Abyss, a place that was once filled with golden light. What was once perhaps a Wonderland is no more than a broken place filled with peices of a fallen city and creatures twisted from what or who they once were.
no subject
That's very interesting. And there seem to be some similarities. Where I'm from, it's not the place but some of the people who are broken, though. Like the Regrets. It isn't good to turn back and look behind you, so to say.
