Mun: What am I doing?
Take a chance, make mistakes, and reread. No! No no no no no! Don't wait for a push, use your initiative!

Still, they'll have to read more than just the first book. Not more than three!
And that's the way it is!
no subject
Three, huh? Mine's mostly looking at comics. I'm older in a lot of them, but - yeah.
- Hi.
And heading off for the night.
Only three! In comparison, not a lot at all.
Comics need more inference.

Um - when I'm older I'm in a lot of things, I guess. My mun's just least familiar with the comics, so... that's what she's focusing on.
Why just three? Are those the ones you're in? Uh - who are you, anyway? I'm Luke.

[She stills, finally.]
Machu Picche, but that's a mouthful. Call me Peach, everybody else does.

...It's kind of rude, but... is it okay to ask what you are? I haven't met anyone who looks like you. Reptavians kind of a little similar, maybe, but they didn't talk.
no subject
I'm a bird. A scarlet macaw, to be exact. Talking can be learned, it's all sound imitation anyway. [Not that she's particularly normal even in that sense.
Being a wizard's pet does tend to cause stranger things to happen.]
no subject
Sound, I guess, but language is - like I can sort of talk with animals? If they feel like it? But it's not like with people, even if we don't have the same language.
no subject
Sound like it's something similar.

[You know, he's just not even gonna question it right now.]
Good to see you, bird.
no subject
So you found your way here too.
[They can have a reunion... of two.]
no subject
[Oh my god he might have seniority on a Power. This is either a pleasant advantage, or a terrible omen. Or both.]
Got any advice?
no subject
[She preens a wing before speaking]
Look both ways when crossing. Plan for the present. Go armed for bear.
lateness is a lie
[Ah yes, dry sarcasm. Comforting in its familiarity if nothing else.]
Carl, can't you just borrow a piece of thursday somewhen?
[Her tone is somewhat fond, it's hard to tell with the sarcasm, but it's there.]
Sounds too much like work.
Ah, duct tape. The universal bond that holds the universe together.
How've you been?
[We will ignore the ridiculousness of asking a Power that question for the moment.]
Should be routine then!
I'm well, it's boredom that is the largest problem at hand. For the mundane.
[Power or not, she's still stuck inside a macaw.]
zomg peach! very, very late response, but peach!
That's very cryptic.
Hi Mogget! And late's no problem. (Also, breaking haitus to tag so...we'll see how long that goes)
[Cocking her head a little, she continues sarcastically.]
The weather today is going from a balmy 58 to the high seventies. Remember to wear sunscreen and stay hydrated.
[Peach is not afraid to bite, so don't tempt her.]
no subject
I would have called that advice, not an answer. Unless there's someone you were... answering.
[Anybody? Just a quick glance-- nnnnope, no-one around.]
no subject
One says that they can't, and the only reply is to try.
[She stares down at Mogget, shuffling closer to the cat till she's nearly right on top of him.]
no subject
Can't what?
no subject
Do something. Anything. I'm generalizing. The usual folks who complain that something is too hard, or that they're too tired and never do anything useful.
