Y'know, I can appreciate your concern regarding my canon setting section. I lived it and it still confuses me. Occupational hazard of a time-traveling companion.

Rory is there on that turtle.

And I don't like that very much. Nobody messes with my boys, and nobody messes with my husband. Me and Rory, that's the way it's supposed to be.

Yes. A great big turtle about the size of Ireland.

It's actually kinda cool. I mean, think about it, giant sentient world turtle, it's very mythic.

Still doesn't change the fact that my husband is there without me.

[ He can be good with empathy, and then he can be terrible at it. This time is one of the latter. ]

Another? Doctor, all you seem to like is cheeky. It's a prerequisite, I'd think.

[ He grins, looking her over. ]

Cheeky and smart. And ginger. Got there eventually, didn't we?

What is it with you and gingers? I swear, it's like a fetish with you.

Although yes, I am smart.

...Not as smart, but that's just basic human nature. Wives are always smarter than husbands, we're not a unique case or anything.

...It's so strange to be talking to you like this. With a different face. And different accent, too.

That's the way it is. Regeneration. A whole new face, a different accent--different ears. Not long for the world, this one.

[ He's not sad about that. It is how it is, and he has new friends to look forward to. ]

I don't know. I really don't. I mean, if I were your past, you'd remember me. Or at least I hope you would.

But the only way I know you is a very different face. There's a lot more chin, for one. And a lot more floppy hair.

And a bow tie. Which you think is cool.

[ More chin, floppy hair and a bow tie. That can't be too bad. It's definitely not something he's lived yet. ]

I'm not sure about cool, but I've been known to wear a bow tie on occasion. Then again, I once wore celery.
