[He pulls his big, red gun out of hammerspace and shoots a fireball at the human.]

[In a swift movement, he summons a fireball of his own to collide with Evil the Cat's, just barely deflecting it from himself in the ensuing explosion. Once he pats out a spark that's landed on his sleeve, he tears off a glove and... cuts his own hand open, squeezing the wound until there's enough blood to toss in an arc in front of him while muttering under his breath, eyes fixated on Evil the Cat.]

[Evil the Cat backs away to avoid being splattered by the blood. His ears are sharp enough to pick up on the muttering.]

...A demonic ritual?

[This is distracting enough to cause him to pause. SINCE WHEN DO HUMANS WORSHIP DEMONS?]

[You probably should started moving more, because the blood arc is fracturing on the ground and heading your way faster than a freight train -- with the intent on keeping you where you are -- while Artuan summons up another fireball.]

[Evil's not that agile, but he's going to attempt to dodge anyway. He's barely successful, but he doesn't even see the human chargiung up another fireball.]

[FWOOSH! Evil's engulfed in the fireball. When the fire dies down, he's left horribly singed.]

[He then dissolves into ash. Come back in a few hours and he'll be ready again.]
