The ones responsible for abbreviating the story made a grave error when they did so at my expense, and at the expense of the Warriors Three. [ Let's not even start on Hogun. ] Such injustices are bound to occur as long as the important tasks are left entirely in the hands of men.

Though they only showed me brandishing my sword before cutting away, I assure you my wielding of it against those guards was infinitely more impressive.

[ She smirks. ]

Fortunately, unlike Thor, I don't need to show off to prove my prowess.

Though I agree, dear lady, that the tellers of this latest saga did you far from justice in the meager room allotted to your role.

I had thought it might be. [The bow and then the smile are met with a warmly regal one of her own. Though no well less deserved. On this, even, my current mortal host and I am fully agreed; though she greatly enjoyed the story, she mourns it was not longer and thus with room for more inclusions. Especially of you and my son's other companions.

But I am not at all surprised that you would play a role in this battle.

We all wished it. Even— [ she falters ] Loki. [ The one she believed didn't have a selfless bone in his body. ] And now we pray peace may finally return to the Nine Realms—especially while Thor is on Midgard.

[ Not that Asgard doesn't have plenty of defenders left.

She beams at the compliment (because she's taking it as such) and returns the smile. ]

I would have played a bigger role if the fates had allowed it.

[Frigga might care to debate that, were the point to be raised - but unless otherwise prompted she will remain politely mute on the hard subject that is her second child. She knows her feelings and thoughts on Loki are hardly in alignment with most others', and she will not force them to agree or disagree with her. She'll speak on other things instead.]

I have faith in Thor; I know you do too as well, Sif, though some of his choices may test that much at times. If he believes Midgard is where he belongs for now then so be it. And if he swears to return should his aid be needed...then by everything in his power and perhaps beyond, he will.

The fates, or only those that at present are allowed to speak for them, perhaps.
