Okay, so the username could use just a liiitle bit of work. Seriously. Other than that, I'm glad you're letting me out. It's so boring in that place, but that's not saying I didn't learn anything. I don't get it all but that's okay. I'll get it eventually. Probably.

[He scratches the back of his head, Zack looks a little bit embarrassed at the moment. Why do pretty girls disarm him like this? He does give a laugh in spite of his embarrassment.]

Well, more puppy-like than an actual puppy. Hm, I've been told that it's because I'm a little hyper. Not in a bad way, though. Well, since puppies are cute, it might fit.

(To her credit, she doesn't laugh.) I think you would make a big puppy! Good at protecting your owner, probably.

Not that I would know. I've never had a puppy for a pet.

[Now, that comment alone melts his heart. All he ever wanted to be was a hero and he's happy to hear it.]

Thanks. I don't have an owner but I do have a home. Sort of. Would you like one? A puppy, I mean.

[His smile fades a little to show his concern, his bright blue eyes blink innocently.]

I guess I was more interested in being that guy everyone looks up to without really thinking about what the nickname really means.

[He brightens up and extends his hand.]

Yes! But...I don't really have a home right now. I should get settled so the puppy has a place to live too.

(Pascal is okay sleeping in her hair. She's not sure a puppy would be as happy.)

(While she doesn't understand fully what Zack means, she listens intently.)

(Looking down at his hand, she slowly reaches out to grasp it.)

I am? Must have forgotten that. [He kids, but teasing Zack is something to rare he takes every chance he can get.]

[Zack actually appreciated the kidding and goes with it. The teasing is something of a pastime for these two, how could he miss this chance?]

[Well, that went well. He scratches the back of his head at first then snaps his fingers as a sign he was dejected but bounces back with a nod.]

Well, yeah, of course I do. I wouldn't say that I'm endlessly energetic, but close enough.

Hey, Sephiroth, what's the deal with this Loveless thing from Genesis anyway? I don't see the connection. Do you know anything about that?

Genesis loves reading poetry and Loveless is the name of one such book he carries around. He's drummed enough of it into my head already. [Ugh. Genesis and his constant poetry rambling. Yet, he did like the sound of the other man's voice..]

There may be a connection with Loveless Avenue also. Perhaps, we should investigate around that area too.

Zack, the puppy. Tell me, have you annoyed Angeal beyond breaking point yet? [He will be sitting on top of a wall smirking, as he does.]

[Color him surprised as he looks up and blinks.]

Would I tell you if I even knew? [He's a tease. Sorry, Zack. He gets out his book and begins to read, glancing up now and again to look at the puppy.]

Probably not. [He sighs dejectedly. It's okay, Genesis, he's getting used to hearing the teases but he's always curious.]

[Zack groans the moment he sees that book.]

Uhn, again? What's with that book anyway? Why are you always quoting it? Are you looking for something?

Loveless? This is everything to me. It opens my world out beyond this primitive one. The Goddess guides me. [He goes back to the book, smirking.]

Perhaps I am looking for something, yet I don't know yet.

[He laughs and pulls away and stands in front of his mentor with a little bit of shifting. Yep, zero attention span. He doesn't mind being a puppy for Angeal. This is a great day for him.]

You know, I'm not really sure. Oh!

[It's as if he had seen something move off to the side but he's still always loyal. He lifts his hand with his index finger pointing with a rocking motion of his wrist.][With that said, he puts his hand to his chin for a moment then puts his fist in his hand.]

Okay, I got it! See, a lot of stuff happened, and well...I missed you.

[Angeal's pretending to ignore that hug and shrugs it off. Zack was just being Zack. But he secretly liked them even if he never showed it. But at the other doing..whatever it was he was doing, Angeal just sighed.]

You're lucky I'm not expecting a full written report on whatever that stuff that happened was, because you'd probably be rewriting it all night.
