It's more of a curse than anything else. I get stronger and faster, but I change in the process. I lose myself every time.

There is only one person on my world who can remove powers, and unfortunately, I'm not him. [Yet. Even as an AU, he's the Avatar. Eventually he'll be able to do it, but that might be years away.

He lowers his voice, and tries to keep it level.]

Initially, I started out as being able to control water. However, as years went on, I was taught to control the blood within other living beings. It's very illegal and very, very addictive. The more you use it, the closer you supposedly get to madness. I had to reign it in before it consumed everything I was.

But I did it, eventually. And I hope that what I've learned may help you.

But being that I come from the world I come from, a lot of it will be spiritual. I understand that different worlds have very different views on what that means and some people find it a very touchy subject.
