canon is disney's frozen, aaaaand shaky voicetesting. someone point me to icons?
[A sigh, like she's trying to keep herself from freaking out too much. She's already had that, anyway.] Username aside--and don't think I don't get it, because I do--I do appreciate the effort. It's just that I can't stay here. You know my place is in Arendelle, with my sister, and after what happened, I find I prefer staying there.
Besides, you've only just seen the movie. At least find some way to see it again, but pick somebody else up instead. Someone who isn't in charge of an entire kingdom, for one.
[A pause, then an exasperated sigh.] --And you realize your jokes aren't as funny as you think they are? Yes, I know winter is coming, it comes at the end of every year. Why are you so fixated on that? [She's not going to get into the comparisons to some witch, she just won't.]

But it's so not Elphaba at all. For one thing, she's not green. For another...she's...not green.
This is confusifying.
So Fiyero just stands there, hands crossed in front of his chest, gawking.]

You realize I'm not going to hurt you, right?

[He cocks his head to the side, shrugging. He has no idea about your crazy ice powers, Elsa.
Though he's pretty used to girls with crazy powers who hurt everybody except him. So that's nothing new.]
There's something about you I...can't put my finger on. You know?

[She relaxes, somewhat, and smiles a little at him. All right, so it's a little awkward, but years of keeping to yourself will do that, and besides, she's a queen. There's always going to be a little distance.]
no subject
[He's a prince. He knows all about the distance thing. But Fiyero's all about closing the distance. Distract yourself enough, and you forget there was one in the first place.]
It's just...y'know, you sound so much like her. Your voice.

I've never heard of Oz either, so you're right. [A pause, during which the light of realization dawns on her face, then:] This "her" that I sound like--she isn't, by any chance, green, right? Because my lady here hasn't stopped joking about either of us.
no subject
Yeah. She's pretty much the most greenified person I know.
[He frowns a little.]
Oh, for Lurline's sake, now I know who you are. My writer's been reading stories about Elphaba and you chilling together for weeks now.
[He has no idea about the pun he just made.]
no subject
Well, now I know who you are. [She smacks her fist into an open palm.] You're her friend. Or, well, more than that, at any rate. Are you really that brainless?
[The mun hasn't been painting the most flattering description of him, no. Shush, it's because we like you.]
no subject
[What that something is, they've never actually put into words. Fiyero's barely told her how he feels about her.
But that works for them.
He hopes.]
Hey- no! I've been thinking now.
[He says it as if it's some great big feat.
Yep, still brainless.]

[He actually looks a little offended.
What's Elphaba been saying about him?]

Especially the last part.
She stays with me for my dazzling personality.
[And how good he looks in a pair of white pants. Get 'em.]

Where did she go?
[The mun is so, so sorry about Fiyero.]

[Because despite all the thinking he's been doing lately...well, his mind is kind of rusty.]
Oh.
[He grins a little, placing a hand on his hip - but there's a part of him, an inward part, that's cheering. Maybe he knows it, knows it well, but it's always nice to hear.]
Yeah. Yeah, I feel the same way. But about her.

Are you really in charge of a whole kingdom?

I know, it's just--after what happened, I can't really leave Arendelle behind so easily.

augh sorry formatting error
Is someone [ and her voice is getting increasingly loud AND outraged here ] trying to take you away? Like a kidnapping? Okay, whoever you are, I think you'll find that you won't be able to get to Elsa that easily! I mean there's the guards and the kingdom and the gates so. Just try it! [ wait anna what are you saying??? ] I mean! Don't you dare try it!
[ in a v. obvious and v. audible stage whisper to elsa ] If they try anything funny, just freeze them! [ a pause while she thinks about what she just said ] Okay, I know you don't actually want to hurt anyone with your powers so I'll- tell them that I've been known to do very violent things with a lute!

Anna, I'm fine--we're just talking. There's no need to hit anyone with a lute, but if it does ever arise, I think I know who I'd call for first.

I have the same concerns, but my Mundane is stubborn. She has my happiness in her best interests, but I'd rather not be put through my paces.

The poem is rather nice, if a little worrying. [Dear mun: she isn't going to end the world, no.]
I honestly doubt mine does. If she's going to be planning anything involving me, I have a feeling it'll be more than a little harrowing.

My Mundane recommends Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening. I've just read it myself - she says the poet was born centuries after my - our rule, so she's taken it upon herself to expose me to his poetry.
[A bit of a smile.]
Does she have anything in mind? Mine just threw me into one of those "memes"! It was a "zombie" apocalypse. [A sigh.]
