[He just chuckles as he brings his weapon up, spinning it the air to form the Crimson Seal, deflecting the blow, if only barely.]

[There's an edge to Kain's tone, a hint that he's concealing a great deal of emotion. With his memories intact at the moment, he strongly doubts his ability to overcome darkness as well. But the last thing he wants to do is admit it.]

[Kain lands after his weapon clashes against the seal, but immediately launches into a ground attack next. He jabs at him with Dragon's Fang, spear aiming to try and impale Exdeath.]

The Void is all encompassing and all consuming. Even without my blade to aid it, it will consume all that is, was, and will be.

The fact that the Void has chosen to revive me in this form to further its will should be proof enough of it's might. Not even death can hold me.
