Okay, so, first, obviously, thank you for creating me. And for breaking me out this morning even though you're worried about whether or not your mother will approve of the turkey. (Who really makes a backup turkey? Really?)

But I have to say, I don't really know what I'm doing. I still haven't entirely learned the ins and outs of living in Chicago yet. It's only been eight months! Plus you gave my brother an icon, so I can only assume that means he's going to be around to give his two cents, and people tend to be afraid of him. So, please don't be upset if this doesn't go well at first.

I am kinda looking forward to meeting all the people, though. I mean, there are superheroes and aliens and all that? How exciting is that? So this'll be fun. Just probably a bit awkward and crazy.

I'm going to need a guidebook or something. [She laughs.] I got excited when I saw Will Gardner. That tells you the kind of person I am.

Yeah you might and he seems interesting.

[tessanne]

I'll have to do some research. [She chuckles.] I'm a fan of his work. I'm hoping I'll get to know him a little bit.

Yeah I hear most people like him.

We've just been introduced. We haven't really spoken yet. But here's hoping.

I'm sure you work with some pretty interesting people, too?

Good luck with that. As for my work, it's definitely never ever dull. Everyday is something different.

[tessanne]

That's exciting, though. I mean, that's the fun of working with my brother. I never know what case he gets handed and what he might need me to do. It's like a constant surprise.

[satanlawyer]

Sounds nice. Mine's a constant daily surprise with an edge.

[tessanne]

That sounds dangerous.

[satanlawyer]

Oh danger like you wouldn't believe...

Yeah, that's where I'd start to get nervous.

[satanlawyer]

It's part of what makes my work fun.

You're probably better suited to it than I am. I'm no shrinking violent, but I do have a healthy dose of caution in me.

[satanlawyer]

we have caution here too,but we tend not to always show it too much.

[tessanne]

Well, if I ever get out to LA, I'll have to give you a call.

[satanlawyer]

You should. (smiles and hands her one of her business cards.)

Thanks. (She smiles and tucks it into her purse.) I'm still getting settled here in Chicago, but maybe I can do some traveling once things slow down.
