New muse gets randomly birthed

Okay, so, first, obviously, thank you for creating me. And for breaking me out this morning even though you're worried about whether or not your mother will approve of the turkey. (Who really makes a backup turkey? Really?)

But I have to say, I don't really know what I'm doing. I still haven't entirely learned the ins and outs of living in Chicago yet. It's only been eight months! Plus you gave my brother an icon, so I can only assume that means he's going to be around to give his two cents, and people tend to be afraid of him. So, please don't be upset if this doesn't go well at first.

I am kinda looking forward to meeting all the people, though. I mean, there are superheroes and aliens and all that? How exciting is that? So this'll be fun. Just probably a bit awkward and crazy.

[And now a half giant is part of 'all that.' Over eight a half foot tall, no shirt, no shoes. But of service!]

Of the ones I have experienced, superheroes in particular are awkward and crazy. More than a bit, I'm afraid. But they do good work, if you can point them in the right direction.
giantsofty: (Chill.)

[And because he is aware of his size and the problems it offers, he just straight up sits down. There. Easier.]

Mmm, I'll admit I'm fascinated by the possibilities as well.

I am, yes. I have it on good authority that it's not a bad state to be in... Although. Urm. I've no experience with online dating to compare it to. I liken the experience more to a... first day at school. Wanting to meet everyone, aware that some of the people you meet you'll never speak to again and others you'll be fast friends with.

Or, hope to be at least.

Viktor Holston, of Tribe Greenland and the Gandamak Family. [Although his German accent is very muted most of the time, when he says his name, it's as thick as can be, for just two words.

He also bows as well as he can whilst sitting. His hair goes everywhere, it's ridiculous.

We're in much the same siltation, Miss Tessanne, so please do not hesitate to ask my assistance should you need anything I can provide.

I'm considering my options. A thousand paths could be a thousand missteps as much as a thousand destinations. I'll make an informed decision when I've given thought to the matter.

...although if possible, I'd like to meet an alien. [When fantasy is your reality, you totally want to see sci-fi.]

Superheroes are cool, when they're not being jerks.

What... Is a 'bat man' and why do you want to see one so badly?

Yeah mun's are annoying like that. Mine keeps trying to throw me at any other lawyer that 'll have me.

Mmmhmmm. That is extremely interesting, that I can tell you.

[That's his life, in a way.]
giantsofty: (I know.)

In my work for ISCC, I have journeyed the world and much of my academic work for the Maidstone Magic Academy involves exploration. In both aspects I often meet world experts. It is a great privilege.

[ISCC is pronounced 'ice.' Because it's cooler that way.]

But what did I wise man say? 'The most interesting people I know didn't know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives. Some of the most interesting 40 year olds I know still don’t.'

Incredibly so. It's all to gather the necessary experience to apply for a research position. The world is always growing. [Before metaphorically and literally in his world's case.]

The only advice I can offer is that rarely will motivation fall into ones lap. Opportunities, yes, but not the will to seize them. Being aimless but knowing you want something can be as effective as picking a goal and working towards it.

...Father once said to me that anything that makes you happy is worth doing for as long as it can be done.

I agree.
giantsofty: (Sunsets please.)

I have seen many things, but I am sure you know much more than me about other subjects. It has only been in the last three years I've really interacted with humans.
