This is all so sudden! I'm excited, though. If your friend brings Edward, it'll be great! Maybe not like old times, but it would be nice to see him more often. If he comes, then maybe everyone else will follow, too?

It's a weird situation, but I don't think I'd mind it. [ Hm, but the idea of being someone's spouse is a little scary! Who wants to be married to a person before you even meet them? ] Am I allowed to make special requests? I'd just like a nice husband.

Also, it's a plus if he isn't a ninja. [ Because they're all braggarts, right? ] Just something to keep in mind!

Worried, too. I like to be optimistic, so I'm trying to stay more excited than anything! Especially if my player's friend brings my friend along. There are people I'm closer to, but I couldn't ask for someone more kind and gentle to be trapped with. [ That's her way of saying he's a bit of a weenie. He's gotten more courageous, though. He's really tried and made improvements! ]

If you're eighteen or older, yes. That's the part I'm nervous about! [ But that's because she expects her "children" to be pretty self-sufficient from what she's gathered about most others... ]

It would be wonderful to have friends around--I am sure that would make the transition much easier.

Yes, that is the part I'm worried about as well... [Though it's not like pre-arranged marriage wasn't ever a thing in her life--she just has someone she's waiting for.]

That's what I think, too. It's beginning to like if it happens it will be the month after I join... [ No biggie. She's already started over once before on her own. This time she's the parent, that's all! ]

It's not a real marriage. I don't think anyone takes it seriously unless they love each other, so you should be okay! Unless you get shuffled somewhere with a jerk. I don't know how common that is, but I think your player could make a request? [ Rydia isn't sure how she feels about marriage. Or relationships. She thinks that when she does, she'll know. (But maybe it's just that she's not ready to address it yet. Or even seventeen years from now, whoops? ]

Quite possibly! My player is still considering the options, and there are others she also wants to court to the game. We must be sure the fit is well, right?

Hm, well, you're under no obligation to remain there, right? At least not technically. It'll be frustrating to be stuck in only one place, but... it might be nice to settle down and be normal for a little while.

I think most people wouldn't want that, kingdom or otherwise. More importantly, I think that everyone has a duty to themselves before they do anyone else. You can't help anyone or make them happy if you can't do it for yourself first!

[ Oh ho! Not that Rydia really understands ~feelings~ or anything. She has had a crush here or there, but nothing that's really come to fruition. ]

You'll be fine. From what I am told he is a good man. [ Not unlike Edge -- although Edge is more talk than he is the actions he claims to take or want to take. She hopes the two never meet because it will likely be a bit of a headache! ]

I won't say anything either way. You acknowledge him -- especially positively -- and you'll never hear the end of it, you know. [ Which appears to imply that she does, in fact, agree with Yang's statement. She doesn't mind being transparent for the moment, but it's hard to say how she'll feel if he comes barreling in with his head held high (as per usual). ]

Likewise! It's been a while, hasn't it? We're all so busy these days. [ ...some a little more than others. She's mostly just hanging around with her adopted family, whoops? ] Though I've managed to see Edge a few times -- in these sorts of places, I mean. [ She even let him hold her hand once or twice! You could consider it progress. ]
