If by this you mean hinting at a possibly obsessive and inappropriate relationship you have with your sister? Though considering how Major Kisaragi reacts whenever he sees you? I would say this is one of those sticky family matters.

It's adding on extra parts to a story that never originally had them.

[For a second, she just stares. You can practically hear the gears turning in her head as she adds the new piece of information to her memory banks. Finally, after a few seconds have passed she nods.]

[Another pause.]

...does this filler upset Ragna?

["No! I mean--yes! But only because it's stupid and pointless!" is what he should have been saying, but... after having 'Nu' die in his arms the way she did, sacrificing herself for his sake... the real killing factor for that was how he had to live through seeing her 'face' again, smiling and clinging to the only thing she had left in the world. meanwhile what he once had faded away, a part of him in the Idea Engine. but Lambda couldn't know that. he couldn't be that much of a blunt ass, could he?]

It doesn't really matter if it upsets me or not, Lambda. [because death is inevitable, right? damn it, Ragna. don't go admitting that it was nice to take a break from hating and destroying!]

["It doesn't really matter"? Is...is he serious? Lambda might not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, due to lots of obvious reasons, but she can at least tell how much of a crock what he's saying is. So she shakes her head.]

[It does matter.]

[he wasn't expecting an answer like that. but now that she was flat-out telling him that she saw through it? ~~insert re-stung~~ a low, aggravated sigh surfaces as he looks Lamba's way]

Fine. It pisses me off watching that crap because...

[At that, she tilts her head to one side.]

[She repeats it once, as if asking for a confirmation, before repeating it several times underneath her breathe. Like the words hold some kind of hidden meaning that her mind just can't process. And honestly? It sure seems that way, since she doesn't understand.]

What...do you mean...Ragna?

Shit. When the hell did I become the vague one?

[time to correct that! much as it hurts seeing something so nice by comparison to what would happen in the future]

Before, in the original game, Kokonoe sent you to fight me. After that, I didn't see you again until you... [no. don't skip the subject]

It was nice. [feels. what do] Nice to just sit down and forget that there's a fight going on. Even helping that little bug that came from Arakune's body.

[As Ragna speaks, Lambda is eerily quiet, listening to his every word as if what he was saying could somehow help her reach a new level of understanding. And in a way, it could. Hearing him speak to her like this...just being around him...it was nice. It was always nice, though this was different, somehow.

When he finishes, she says nothing, instead just staring blankly for a second or two.]

Processing... Processing... Processing... Processing complete.

[In other words, she thinks she has it: the meaning behind his words.]

Ragna is upset...because Lambda dies. So spending time with Lambda only makes the pain...worse? Is this accurate?

[she figured it out? maybe it was because he didn't want to show too much weakness after how much stronger he became from her sacrifice and with his resolve to fight unfaltering... and yet it must have been so much easier for her to say what she did. she was still Kokonoe's weapon, after all. a weapon with that face... with that voice and yet there was an innocence about her, a familiarity that didn't put him on edge like Nu or even Noel did previously. but just hearing her say "...because Lambda dies." was enough to tug at whatever was left of his heart beneath that mass of hatred he showed on the outside]

Yeah. Something like that. [...] No, that's exactly it.

Acknowledged.

[As usual, Lambda pauses once she finished speaking, but this pause was...different. This wasn't shifting through her data bank or trying to use logic to piece together all the information she was given. No, this moment of silence was reflection, something befitting of a human. She was thinking. Thinking about Ragna's words, about the ramifications of her sacrifice. It was a bit of a blur, thanks to Nu taking over, but even so...she still knew what was going on to some extent. And she would have done it regardless.

Yet...it brought him pain? No...no that's not what she wanted. But at the same time...she wanted him to live. How could she be sorry for his life? How could she be sorry for spending time with him?

...she couldn't. It just wasn't possible. So she turns her head downward, staring at the floor solemnly.]

Lambda...is sorry...for causing Ragna pain. It's not what she wanted. However...she isn't sorry for what happened.

[HIS @#$%ING HEART STRINGS!!! his body was visibly shaking, possibly out of frustration at himself and for the fact that he let it happen in the first place. though if it wasn't for her, without the Idea Engine he wouldn't have been able to stop Terumi and save Noel. in hindsight, it told him that it was necessary, even if he would have fought for as long as he could without the use of the true power of the Azure. if it meant stopping Nu...even Lambda herself from dying? Ragna would have kept trying. but it was like he said, wasn't it? everyone was going to die some day. and the ones that didn't give up deserved help from time to time]

Lambda. You...

[ "Ragna had help?" ]

[yeah...he did]

Hey. [had he not gone through what he did, he wouldn't have approached her like this before. with the way that the girl's head was turned down, he knew that he didn't screw up with what he said. but he knew that he'd made her feel bad at the same time. maybe...it was a good idea for him to just leave her like this. leave her to fate like before so that it hurt less. but when she talked like that. when she said she was sorry...] It's not your fault.

[hope you don't mind big brother Ragna gently raising your chin to look up at him. he lets go once he's got her attention]

It's mine. [by this point, his guard has completely dropped now. that cold front he put up before? that attitude? the Grim Reaper? he wasn't there right now. not until he set things right. at least, he felt he had to]

[While Lambda doesn't know what Ragna is thinking...it's for the best that he stuck around to talk with her. She doesn't want to be left alone. She doesn't want Ragna to turn and walk away from her. No matter what he thinks...that would pierce her more so than Terumi's Ouroboros ever could. So when he stays...when he brings his hand up to her chin and raises it, she can feel her heart skip a beat. Is this...love? Admiration? Whatever it is, it feels...nice. Warm.]

[A question, of course. She doesn't see how it can be his fault. Not really, anyway.]

The power of the Azure... My Master told me to never mistake its power for my own. I beat Terumi thanks to you, but maybe...

If I could fight with my own strength, you might not have had to do what you did.

[now that he's got that confession out of the way,]

Well, what's done is done. Guess there's nothing better to do but keep that memory with me. [the memory of the filler as it were]

He's right about that, at least. None of them can take back what happened, though in Lambda's case...it's not like she'd want to.]

So Ragna...will remember Lambda?

[there's a bit of a long pause at that, reflecting on that before realizing that there was no point in hiding anything anymore at this point. so he offers a rare, affectionate smile]

Yeah. I'll remember.

[Immediately after Ragna smiles, Lambda returns the expression with one of her own before giving her not!big bro a hug, nuzzling her face in his chest.

~~Thankfully he doesn't get stabbed.~~]

[he doesn't say anything else after that, just letting the 'lost' girl remain there against him. it hurts still. it even hurts right now, but he's already expressed that to her already. there was nothing that he could do but accept this pain and fond memory all at the same time]
