Absolutely not! I don't have time for this mun. You've seen the kind of work I do around Megakat City, I'm needed there.

Unless you can manage to get the Swat Kats themselves to show up and tell me I'm needed here than you best just stop right now.

And what about you? Don't you have more than enough to do yourself. Cats Alive you are even off your sleep schedule for this. I won't say anymore, you go do as you need to and let me do what I need to.

Nice to see someone's got confidence in us handling things. Otherwise, it'd all be left to the Enforcers.

Razor, you're actually here! Good to know I wasn't being fed a line of nip that at least one of you two would show up.

Oh the Enforcers would take care of it... But after how many hours? And how much application of brute force, when a sharp wit and quick reflexes gets the job done much faster.

If me or T-Bone didn't ever answer your call, Miss Briggs, then I'd be worried about more than being lied to if I were you. [Grinning as he says this.]

Feral isn't exactly the king of precision, so I'd give him...[Thinks for a moment.]...half a day? A day at most? And the collateral damage would be way worse than anything he could blame on us.

You're not wrong... But I didn't really want to think too far into that kind of idea. After all if you and T-Bone weren't around I don't know what Megakat City would do.

[And that's not even going into what she would do without them around]

Ah yes, Commander Feral... No one can say he gives up to easily... Though that's not always a good trait. [She let out a sigh of exasperation.]

To be honest, I really hope you never find out the answer to that one.

[He's seen one version of the future without SWAT Kats in it, and it's definitely not pretty. Metallikat City is a possibility he never wants to come to pass...assuming they're not already on the path to that future.]

[...Or haven't done anything while trying to prevent that future from happening to cause it to come to pass.]

[She reaches out and sets a hand on his shoulder, before letting his laugh infect her with a smile.]

Maybe, but at least when T-Bone shows that trait he regularly gets things done that he's trying to to, rather than... well... what Feral does.

Feral is...Feral. [He puts his paw on top of hers, giving it an awkward pat because he's not always 100% sure how to act around her as Razor. (Doesn't help that most of the time is in dire situations where she's clinging to him as he rescues her. How does normal stuff work with them?)] Things get done but usually in ways you regret the need for them ever needing to be done in the first place.

[She offers him an appreciative smile, shifting a little awkwardly herself. As much as she's often wanted a chance to talk to the Swat Kats without a crisis happening, or Feral threatening to try to get a hold of them, she wasn't quite sure what to do now that she had the chance.]

So true, of course he wouldn't have a job if he couldn't get the work done at some point.

[Razor had been pretty much dreading such a situation because she knows Jake Clawson, and she's not stupid. Too much time in Razor's presence might mean she starts making connections.]

I suppose you gotta give him credit for that if nothing else.

[This was possibly the longest she had spent around Razor without running for her life, or some other chaotic event happening.

She really wasn't sure how to take all of this in the face of that. Fortunately she was still trying to adjust to things here, so recognizing who else Razor might be like wasn't on the forefront of her mind.]

He's not all bad... he's just... stuck in his mindset.

Though sometimes I think the more you two show him up the more he tries to hold onto those 'old ways' hoping to prove they will work one day.

[Seems like an accurate assumption. Razor's sort of wondering when the other shoe will drop.]

You know, we are normally in too much of a hurry to get the chance to talk, like normal people at least. You are very easy to talk with Razor.

Yeah, normally there's a lot more screaming and running going on in MegaKat City when we bump into each other, huh? Kinda weird to talk to you like this but not bad weird.

I hope Mayor Manx doesn't do too many self-indulgent things while I'm gone... Though maybe he'll figure out how to write his own speeches without me there.

It's alright, besides, Razor already showed up, so there was only so much of a chance left.

I feel bad for the citizens. The other alternative he would do is replace every speech with a golf tournament.

Golf... that is one thing I won't miss here.

I never got the whole golf thing. Seems boring. I mean, its boring to Razor and that guy watches documentaries for fun.

I will never understand it... I don't want to. Then again I get enough excitement in my days that a lot of things turn out feeling very boring.

She has her eye on a couple games, one being a place called Terminal Tokyo I believe, the other is a place called Wake. I'm really not sure what to think of either of them at the moment.

I think I've earned some right to be at least a little tense, considering Megakat City depends on me for the day to day work, as well as seeing to it that the right people for the job show up in emergencies.

Though you are right, and I'm sorry if I'm being rude, I just... care a lot about the city. I wouldn't do what I do if I didn't.
