Canon is both DMC and Viewtiful Joe.

The name I suggested was superstylishstorm, not squid! Are you hard of hearing or something? Why are you even bringing that up? It was one time and the best I could come up with on short notice. It's not my fault Joe only gave us two days to work out the plan. I don't know why I even offered to help, he's worse than Dante.

And why the heck did you give me an icon of that ridiculous suit? Even if I still had it, I wouldn't wear it again. I know it's hard to find good images of me, but are you really that desperate that you're filling in spaces with things like that? Get rid of it and find me some real icons. And while you're at it, you should probably figure out what color you're going to make my eyes, since nobody can seem to agree on that.

Right? I'd bet that they wouldn't even show me pushing him down, either. It would just be off-screen, so the whole thing would look incredibly awkward.

I have a feeling we'd both have to either do that, or pull a Sadako and come out of the computer during the editing process to put a stop to it.

I've always found horror movies a bit dull and frustrating, but I think I could stomach a reference for a cause like that.

I can agree with that. Granted, there are some months where there's hardly anything else airing on television, so if you're unable to sleep, you're stuck with whatever entertainment is offered.

Yet another downside of being stuck in the human world.

Heh, you should come to Movieland sometime. There's rarely a dull moment and even if there is, there's usually someone you can prod into being interesting. Believe it or not, I've found a couple humans there that can give me a solid fight.

That does sound interesting.

Is it a full game, or a dressing-room type thing?

Actually, it's part of our universe. It's kind of like the Mirror World, only instead of nobodies crawling all around, it has the settings and characters from every movie ever recorded on film.

Though it might not make a bad game or dressing room setting.

That...sounds like it could end horribly or brilliantly. I really can't decide which.

It can be a bit of both. Like I said, it's rarely dull.

Meanwhile, I'm becoming more and more disturbed to realize that the lady that plays me acts more like Dante than me. She sleeps way too much and is well-known at at least three separate pizza places. Something is sincerely wrong here.

And here I thought it was bad that mine was capable of eating nearly an entire large pizza by herself and generally associates herself with fire.

*He's never tasted pizza himself, but he's smelled it enough at Dante's place that he's already sick of it. And considering the fact that Dante's got the red theme going o top of the impulsive and hotheaded personality...*

I still think that he actually was the right Tony but had repressed the memories.

I could believe that, but there are so many holes in that whole thing.

I've worked out a rough timeline for it that I think works?

What about the fact that Eva supposedly escapes/the lack of Vergil?

It wasn't Eva, it was a foster mother, his first and only one.

That actually makes a lot of sense.

She died shortly after escaping and Dante repressed the memories because it was too much like Eva.

I can get behind that.

He didn't go back into the foster system after that, but doesn't remember ever being in it now.

Poor kid. He needs every available hug.

He didn't start drinking for the taste :|
