...What happened to you? [This is all too evocative of the last time he plunged into darkness. Hollow Bastion. She hates that memory. She reaches out to touch, concerned.]

[He bares his fangs and takes a step back. Oh no, don't get him confused. He is not Sora. He is not his Heart. He is the creation of Riku. He was created to destroy Sora before merging into him. Before being welcomed back into warmth. And now? Now he's been torn apart once more.

Though he can't feel or speak, imagine how that feels, princess. He must either merge, or devour his Heart. There is nothing else that will satisfy him. And you can't not save this version of him.]

[She can't begin to comprehend this. All she is really aware of is an almost painful rebound of intense, dark emotions when she tries to reach out and "feel" his heart. And at once she is both terrified and sad.]

...You're not, are you. If you were really him... No matter how smothered it was, I'm sure I'd be able to feel his heart. You're something much darker... But...

I'm sorry. That's such a terrible existence. And you don't even get to be angry.

[He is everything Sora is not. He is a base creature of darkness. He is hatred and rage and depression. He is every dark emotion inside of Sora. He is willing to kill and destroy, to mutilate and devour. He is all consuming and forever starving. The only thing that can satisfy him is his Heart. He is incomplete without Sora. All he wants is to return to the place where he was merged. Where he felt the warmth and feelings of his Heart.

Oh yes, there was anger and rage sometimes, but light was all that really existed.

And now, in this place, he can't even have that. He cannot feel angry although he is anger. He cannot feel sad even though he is that too.

He nods. Yes, he is much darker than his Heart. He is the very shadow the light casts.]

I wish I could help you. I wish that really badly right now. But I don't know what to do. I don't think there's anything I can do.

Oh, and there's a bonus, too. Having friends means if you're feeling lazy, you can whine at them until they help you with your chores or your homework. ...Not Sora, so much, but Riku's great for that.

[He has a vague idea what a friend is, because he remembers his Heart's memories (for which you and his creator frequent). When he thinks of you, he feels warm and content. But a heartless is never full, partially sated, but never full. So, having a friend is fulfilling. But if he merges with Sora, he does not control Sora. Oh, he can. When Sora uses him in the drive form, he controls the body and does as his Heart may wish.

But, the last part? Lazy, whine, homework? All foreign notions and words.]

You don't have to worry about that. If we can get you your heart back-- [But no harm to Sora, God, no, she'd never want that.] --and if you come live with us on the islands, I promise I'll help you with your homework. For a while, anyway.

There are two places you might find them.

daear The world itself is mostly peaceful, though there is something shady going on there. My mundane is responsible for Sora's presence there and is also one of the moderators. Riku has... other issues besides whatever had happened to him the last time you saw him.

itsjustagamerp This place is strange. A pair of mad scientists are trying to drive the inhabitants insane with bad fiction. There, Sora and Riku had been about to go home, from what I understand, but were instead sent to this satellite. I'm here as well.
