Canon is CW's Tomorrow People.
No.
Whatever you think you're doing? Don't. I'm not the guy you're looking for. I'm not - whoever it is you want me to be. I'm not even your species.
So take a step back. Mind your own business.

Jed down there pinged me cause Kate's from one of the older series!
And they never mind their own business.
awesome!
I might be picking up Stephen after the end of the season too
Only if you think your time isn't worth anything.
Oh excellent! Waiting until the end of the season probably would have been a good idea.
I just like to watch and rewatch before I pick someone up.
Look, it sucks. Most of these muns are pretty sadistic and I know sadistic. But being here? It ain't all bad - and it gives you a chance, a lot of them, to learn stuff you couldn't learn otherwise. It's useful.
I generally wing it, and get the details down later. So early on I tend to get details wrong ._.
I play from Supernatural too so I feel you.

...that's not a bad reason.

We're different. Like, the guy in here who knows this stuff calls it "parallel evolution across the multiverse" - he's pretty smart so, he's probably right.
Way I understands what he says, you and me, we're like evolutionary cousins. Pretty much the same, but not totally. They call us Tomorrow People too, but it never really mattered to me, community labels don't matter much if you're on your own for a while.

You got the three Ts?

Two of 'em. I'm not telekinetic and my telepathy isn't really strong, or it's more subtle? But I can do something else that's pretty cool.

Stopping time?
[ Just an instinct. If it's not true, he'd be interested to hear what else there is. ]

[ It's a neat trick. One she doesn't let people who are at least similar to her know about. ]

[ Here, let him roll up his sleeve. Got a nice nasty one up by his elbow. ]

[ She reaches over, hand just above his skin. Her hand glow orange and within seconds, the bruise - and any other damage in the area - disappears. ]
Useful, huh?
no subject
Useful and impressive.
Our kind of Tomorrow People or not, you'd have a place with us. Not just because of this.

Thank you. I got another mouth to feel, full disclosure.
[ It's a sticking point. ]
But it might be nice to have a place to belong. It's been a while.

[ She's nineteen, don't do the math. ]
You can see why I to stay under the radar though. I don't want to end up chained to a lab, healing what they cut apart.

The three-year-old - yours?
[ He don't judge. ]

[ ...That was bitter. Far too bitter to just be about the naivety of others she had met. ]
My little boy, yeah.
[ She's glad for it. She's used to either judgment and scone or pity. She's not sure which is worse. ]

Kids got a way of bringing everyone together. It's extra trouble, but makes everyone want to go the extra mile.
...okay, that sounds a little cold-blooded, but I'd count him as a bonus, not a drawback.
no subject
No, I get it. Kids are helpless, they need us, to protect them, take care of them. You think about risks more, you try harder. Be more careful. And more ruthless.
[ At least, that's the effect he'd had on her. ]
no subject
Yeah. That's what I mean.
no subject
Sorry. I didn't mean to trip over something.
