Yeah, I've heard them called that before. They were human once though. Anyone when one collects too many souls they become able to take over the world to put it simply, or to become a full fledged kishin. It's my job to prevent that from happening.

[ There's a small, almost amused smile that comes to his face at that. He clears his throat slightly. ]

That's where I am right now. You have these collars that the so called goddess or whatever that she chains you with. Slowly over the course of two weeks they tighten until you can't breathe and they choke you. The only way to prevent it is to engage in... [She looks flustered at that, and starts playing with her hands, she's still not sure she likes talking about sex. Especially with strangers.]...things.

[She's seen enough darkness to know that often times things lie below the surface.]

Yeah, it's a pretty shitty situation. She doesn't give a damn about any of us here, though she tries to act like she cares. [Her own anger flares a bit.] But life isn't always easy, so you just have to face it and strike out as best you can.

The thing is, she wouldn't stand a chance against any of us if we had our powers, but she takes those away. So she's just a weak woman who sits on a throne.

Devalued? I guess that sort of depends on if you think your value lies in your body.

[ The statement makes him scoff, and he closes his eyes briefly. ]

A coward on top of all of that. If she's going to have the arrogance to try and hold those stronger than her, it should be because she is capable of fighting them even when they're whole.

I'm head of my school, and one of the best meisters that academy has ever seen, just like my mother. That was my biggest goal. Besides, I don't really like the idea of marriage all that much.

Even a well educated woman needs a man in order to advance in life. Few women are taken fully seriously on their own accord.
