a quick voicetest. (canon is Greek mythology.)

Why should I go anywhere else except to the land of the dead? You don't understand.

I loved my father. I did what I could for him, and I am proud to have done so.

I went willingly for a reason.

[Her smile falters, slightly. But this girl has no reason to be plagued by her woes. She focuses on the positive.]

They do. To know them is to give me great joy and, as you say, great pride. My only regret is...they do not always get along together well. But then, they are brothers.

I am certain you are right. Even if they don't always show it well. [She manages a light remark:] Such is often the way with men.

I too went willingly - put myself between a great threat and an innocent that was, in the end, a stranger. But there were many causes I hoped to serve by my actions. Whether they were or not...well, it matters little, now.

I am truly sorry that you feel your sacrifice was meaningless. Life, especially that of a young woman like yourself, is worth so much more than that.

That is my hope too, child. May they both come true.
