help I have a problem. a turbo-tastic problem (SPOILERS)
Listen, sweetcakes, I think we gotta put an embargo on this whole alternates thing. I know, I know, I can't help how radical I am, I'm sorry ya love me so much! It's just my curse'a bein' TURBO-TASTIC! So who can really blame ya for wantin' as much of me as ya can?
Still... seriously, SIX'a me? Seven if ya count the glitchin' one with the split personality twice! I wouldn't mind it if all but two'a them weren't friggin' NUT LOGS!
I mean, the one from that other console's not so bad, but ugh, gag me with a spoon, I got sick'a his cheesy hero shtick REAL quick! The only other one that doesn't freak me the heck out is just... me, from 25 years ago. But ya ever have a conversation with yourself from the past? S'freakin' WEIRD, man!
Look, if ya really serious about this though, ya gotta do your research. Yeah yeah, who wants ta'do homework, right? But I'm not settlin' for bein' anythin' less than an AUTHENTIC King'a the Streets! Go play a Grand Theft Auto or Saints Row game or somethin'. Read some auto mags too, need ya ta'list me at least ten vintage cars by the end'a the week. Hop to it, babe.
{{OOC: AU Info is here! Long story short, this Turbo was never able to learn code, so instead of hiding and eventually taking over Sugar Rush, he spends years game-jumping. He currently lives in Extreme EZ Livin' 2 (described as a mix of GTA and The Sims, originally supposed to be a fifth game Ralph visits in the movie), where he runs the street racing circuit and is the boss of a gang.}}

Still, I suppose we shouldn't complain too much. Without AUs, we wouldn't even be alive.

Guess ya gotta point there, slim. S'pecially considerin' how I ended up, compared'ta most'a my other selves I got off pretty dang good.
no subject
Yes, I suppose you did. I came out worse myself, sad to say.

What's your deal then, stick-legs?

Let me see if I can think up a truly short version. . . In my original canon, I've already visited the Land of the Dead and had to fight a horrible murderer. In the additions my mun has made, I've lost my original fiance to another man, had my parents think I was insane, and been put into the care of a complete monster who -- who t-temporarily wiped my personality.
((His AU info here -- he's a crossover between Corpse Bride and "Alice: Madness Returns"))

Dude, that... SUCKS! Holy hotrods, that REALLY freakin' sucks! But I'm not gonna lie ta'ya bub, my alternates actually got it worse.
Ya had your personality wiped? Try misplacin' all your marbles and so ya go and rewrite it! TWICE! ... Well, sorta twice. Does becomin' a giant psycho bug monster technic'ly count as a personality overwrite?
My player's not even ta'blame for that one, neither.

It does, doesn't it? And -- yes, I suppose I would say so. At any rate, I'm sure it wasn't fun, even if that version of you did seem to enjoy his transformation. Up until he got -- er -- (Awkward shuffling. Even if it was an incredibly crazy alternate -- or, well, CANON self -- it can't be pleasant to hear about another you dying.)

Yeah, gotta admit, he did look pretty gnarly. S'too bad by then his brain was majorly screwed up beyond fixin', kinda not surprised he got the ax not too long after.
And then another one'a my alternates WAS him, 'cept he came back as maybe somethin' worse...
[Another thing he's discovered from meeting several other iterations of himself? There's even more terrible fates possible than just permanently dying.]
no subject
(Ah, okay, this makes it a little easier. He blinks.) Something -- worse? (Does he want to know?)

[Siiigh.]
I think ya just gotta see it for yourself.

OH.
That's -- d-disturbing to say the least.

[He shudders slightly. He'd prefer to stop thinking about it, but he's at least glad that he didn't end up the same way. Not this version of him, anyway.]

(He rubs the back of his head, glad he doesn't have anything like THIS sharing a headspace with him.
The only thing that might even come close, his mun let him kill over on tumblr.)no subject
