I'll reserve judgment...for now. After all, letting anger get the best of me is what brought me to where I am and look how wonderfully I turned out. I've since been introduced to an entirely new realm of magic that no book or scroll in Equestria has documented...not that I mind, of course. This new magic has only worked well for me. I'd say it would work for you, but you're just another powerless human.

Get out of my way, mundane; you're aware of what one will do when hatred overrides thought. That's how I arrived here, isn't it?

[Not two seconds after she says that, a faded yellow hoof quickly makes it's way to pound into a purple face. Is the purple face quick enough to dodge the oncoming blow?]

(The only part about this purple face that has to be quick is mental reaction time. Magic is a wonderful thing.

But it's more fun knocking someone off their high horse (so to speak) the higher up they are, so for now? She'll take that hoof right to the face, turning away for a moment before looking back at the pegasus. The hit didn't make her grin any smaller.)

[Yes, Fluttercruel IS using The Stare on Twilight.]

(...alright, that actually does a bit more than she expected. It is The Stare, after all, so there's a moment when Twilight has to take a step or two back...

...but of course, she's far from the kind willing to play fair. Darkness does that. So instead of taking the stare, Twilight uses her magic to wrap Fluttercruel's own mane around her head, particularly over her eyes. The sooner she breaks eye contact, the better.)

[Fluttercruel takes a moment to get the hair out of her eyes.

Okay, we're going to have to cut this hair off sometime.
But... I like our hair this way.]

...That was smart. But we still have the edge.

Assuming I even leave you with eyes in the first place.

[Fluttercruel holds her hair with her hoof so it can't be magic'd around her eyes.]

In a risky move, Twilight now she's using dark magic to make any type of eye contact with her result in a piercing headache and a high pitched screech that will ring in the observer's ears. Both will grow progressively worse the more she stares.Kinda like Slenderman but not)

['Cruel keeps on using The Stare. Let's see how long evil!Twilight lasts under it's godmode-like powers of intimidation. Let's also see how long Fluttercruel can go before the headache becomes too much.

She's not reacting much yet, and she just feels a minor dull throb.]

(It becomes an all-out endurance match for what may be one of the most overdramatic staring contests of all time.

Twilight's eyes twitch but once. She can feel the godlike power of The Stare have its effect, but she refuses to back down. She can't lose...she just can't. Her eyes glow a brighter green.)

Fluttercruel refuses to back down, too. In response to Twilight's eyes glowing a bit brighter, she only takes a few steps closer.
