"Withdrawals", is it?

[Samus gives a goodnatured chuckle, her eyes crinkling with a tiny smile.]

It has been a long time. [A nod— a wordless hello.] It's good to see you.

[There's an almost serene sort of stillness to her, like a statue. She might even look like one with all that armor, even with her helmet tucked under an arm.] I'll be back out there soon, don't worry. In the mean time, there's nothing stopping us from having adventures of our own. If you know a place — or someone who can keep up — then I'm there.

It seems as if time and space have shifted again, only this time, it is different from Aether entirely.

[Yeah buddy, you've been displaced.]

So it seems. This impedes progress on Aether's recovery, we don't exactly have the time to delay. And you don't need more stress building on what you have.

...y'know mun, I know it's kinda late where you're at and you're tired, but could you stop with the yelling "SPACE ELF!" over and over? It's getting annoying. I mean, yeah, it's the closest thing to a name for my race, but still.

As a matter of fact, I do have objections.

One, I've got better things to do than be here. Two, dealing with the X was rough enough - now you want me to go into a horror-tower before I can even take a proper breather? Three, sending me there with people who knew a different me isn't fair to them. The tower's keepers dash their hopes enough, you don't need to add to the pile.
