Are you completely sure this is necessary?

I mean, I was perfectly happy— [ he gestures vaguely, looking somewhat resigned to being dragged out again already ] —languishing, or whatever the word for it is. It's not even as if this particular outing was inspired by anything relevant, is it?

And for your information, I'm not following the rest of the poor fellows in your head and getting locked down somewhere.

Is it ever inspired by anything relevant? In my experience, they just sort of — go with it, regardless of what we have to say.

Not that I have much experience, but. As far as observations go, they're all a little bit predictable.
