You know, I could remind you that you've got other things to do like that novel in a month thing. And finishing that application for that college thing. And all the other plans you've got sitting on your plate.
You know, things that aren't harassing already harassed wizards trying to make a living.

You know it won't be like the old days. People move on to new things, so maybe new for us won't be so bad. Especially if you hold off on the nightmare fuel and give me a nice place to do my own thing.
God, I miss the Roadhouse. And Ellen.
But hey, you gave me new icons. So that's... something.

We haven't met.
no subject
I guess not. Call me Maugris.

[Karrin raises an eyebrow. You REALLY think they're going to hold off on nightmare fuel?]
Someone's optimistic.

[He grins at her, just glad to see a familiar non-gonna tear out his gizzards face.]
Yeah well, you can't blame a guy for trying. Besides, we both know trouble won't all be her.

[He was getting used to that.]
There's a pretty big difference between knowing better and hoping better.

[Said completely matter-of-factly- and perhaps with a bit of amusement in her tone as well.]
It tends to be close enough with you.
[But more importantly-]
Looking for a new place to call home, I take it?
