You must be bloody joking. Why in God's name would you want to--
No. No, it's not a good idea. I like it where I am. I like it by myself!
Besides, as of late you seem far more interested in my bratty brother and the Idiot©. Go and put one of those somewhere... You're giving them more attention, anyway. It- It isn't that I'm jealous or anything, don't misunderstand. I've no need to be! But you do pick some.
...Not including my good self, of course.
Anyway, the bottom line is that the last thing I need is to be going around playing happy families with strangers and idiots and whoever else is in that place!
Wha-? Well, you should damn well care about my needs!

It would be nice to see England-san in Holly Heights...
[
again, but then this particular England-san has never been there before.]If you need any help upon an arrival there, I would be glad to assist.
[ he's also on the welcoming committee! ]
no subject
That's, ah, nice of you. But if I have my way I won't be going at all. I'm very busy, after all!
[Spoiler alert: he won't be having his way.]
no subject
[ a nod in response, and then a concerned look. ]
While I certainly understand England-san's preferences, he may not have a choice in the matter...
no subject
[Better to be prepared after all, since the odds of his mun not trying to get him in aren't really in his favour.]
Yes... Well. I can still try and stop it from happening.
[Try and fail.]
no subject
...It is not always "awful". Compared to most places here, it's rather pleasant. Most citizens are rather kind. There have been "events" in the past, but they tend to occur on a monthly basis... and their effects or unique locations don't last long.
So, I would not worry. [ too much. ]
[ and then a small smile ]
I wish England-san luck, in that case.
[ ...and then a look of sympathy. ]
But you will likely fail... unfortunately.
no subject
[A stupid question, perhaps. Japan is a nation, after all.
He sighs.]
I fear you're probably right about that.
no subject
Perhaps not always, but... of course. I love my country.
[ because after all, he is a nation, and he does very much love his country, to the point where he can say so without hesitation. ]
But if it was so simple to leave, I would have left that place months ago... perhaps.
[ a smile. ] But... it could be worse, I suppose.
-- For the both of us.
no subject
Yes. I know of worse places. My brother had to go to a place where our world's actually been destroyed.
[A frown, but he hastily changes the subject.]
There are others there then? Others nations, I mean? Not that it'd be better with them there, but...
no subject
Yes. There were many more before, but -- about half of them left within the last few months.
[ but he smiles again. ]
Currently, those remaining include Italy-kun, Germany-san, Hong Kong-san, Vietnam-san, Lithuania-san, Poland-san, Iceland-san... I believe Denmark-san and Austria-san, as well. Taiwan-san and Finland-san also just arrived.
[ there's a brief moment of silent confusion as he tries to remember a couple particular names -- (who was that one, again?) Oh, and ]
...Sealand-kun is there, too. [ now that he thinks about it, they were just talking about him being in one of those "places"... ]
no subject
[A pause.]
Oh. [That's more nations than he'd thought.] Hong Kong and Sealand are there? [Well, his worry has increased a little, even if he only sighs in a tired sort of way, as opposed to show it.]
Well, since I'm sure you're all missing some gentlemanly charm over there and I'm not that busy, I- ah, I suppose it wouldn't be too terrible to join you all.
no subject
And, yes. Both had been there for some time before I arrived.
[ he takes note of that sigh... and that tsundere-like quality of his statement. ]
...Perhaps we could use a gentleman's presence.
Possibly, a gentleman who can join one for tea.
[ it might be a roundabout invitation! ]
no subject
no subject
We should have some say in this! There are many other things I'd rather be doing.
[Pulling a face that's definitely not a pout.]
no subject
[ There, there. It'll be fine. ]
no subject
But I feel I should at least let my-- fears known to her.
[He pauses.]
You say it's not too unpleasant there then?
no subject
[ She has been grinning (or, at least smiling) far more frequently than she use to. It's a nice change of pace. ]
I suppose it would depend on what you make of it, who you know there, who you get to know... but my time thus far has been rather... well. Enjoyable.
no subject
[He's not sure his mun does, but it's worth a try.]
Enjoyable? [Blink, blink.] It is at least good to know it's not one of the worst places out there, I suppose... Though "enjoyable" still seems a stretch to me.
no subject
[ She knows them feelings, bro. ]
It might be, depending on how you feel about suburban life. However, most everyone is friendly and kind. Welcoming, too.
no subject
[That doesn't mean he likes it.]
no subject
...are you still planning on joining everyone, then?
no subject
no subject
Wha- Ah, there are far more frustrating people than me in my mun's headspace.
[A huff. Did you not hear, Seychelles? About America and Sealand?]
no subject
[And he'll just chuckle to himself because jeez, England. You never change.]
no subject
And nobody asked you. Idiot.
no subject
I think joining one of those zombie fighting games would be a lot better!
[As if the muses get to choose. Ha!]
/late as a late thing
And anyway. No, you can't come too.
[Arms crossed. As if he gets any choice in who and who doesn't join him.]
