Ah, the old god dragon geezer that united a country at war under his name, then slept for a few centuries only to be back-stabbed by his own country, then driven insane when his beloved was killed. He's kinda on the shelf in her head, but she likes pulling him out sometimes.

He sounds... interesting. [ To put it mildly. ] Mine doesn't play from that series yet but it's one of her all-time favorites.

The Breath of Fire series in general (barring Dragon Quarter) has a special place in her heart. The only downside from playing from such old fandoms is that it's maybe once a year when someone bites with a castmate.

...At least I don't have to share a headspace with an Asch. How do you handle it?

Mine actually didn't care for that one either at first. She sold her... original copy- boy it sounds weird to say that -and then got another when a friend wanted a demonstration. It kind of grew on her over time. But yeah, newer fandoms seem to get more attention. Her reasoning for not playing someone is "lack of character insight." Whatever that means.

By avoiding a couple of them and putting up with the better one's sarcasm. It also helps to not let his opinion weigh me down too much.

She still has the game, because she has a feeling about keeping "the whole series together". Since she also plays Ryu from the second version of the game, her opinion is "headcanon for vague characterizations is your best friend."

...Lemme guess: easier said than done?

Seeing as how it's hard to find, that's probably a good idea. You know, in case she ever wants to relive the "soul-crushing disappointment." ...I'm starting to doubt that mine has enough imagination to come up with enough headcanon. Could explain why she's been favoring Asch. Huh.

Pretty much. Still beats having them all from around your time.

She just likes collecting. But she's had to get a bit creative to play Ryu because he has no speaking lines. So she relies solely on his actions and in-game emoticons. The details beyond that are headcanon. Fou-Lu, on the other hand, is easier on her because he has such a defined personality. And she says it's fun to type all his weird speech patterns.

*Annd he's just going to nod and grimace at that last bit of info from the other Luke.

That works too. Man, I couldn't imagine not saying anything on our entire journey. It sounds pretty crazy for anyone to be that quiet. [ It isn't like that, Luke. ] Makes sense to me. Mine only gave it some real thought after discovering the translated manga. Not that she's ever finished it- making icons from every damn panel distracts her.

Maybe you can meet the nicer one sometime after your mun has finished the game. [ He gives a slight smile. Asch might have a stick up his ass but he's not too bad. Usually. ]

She has a "gutter brain" on every day. That is to say, she thinks of sex very often. *He sighs and rubs his face.*

...She was even thinking about that when it came to that dog-piling Asch emote on plurk. Just 'it might be fun - two replicas and Asch~'. *He grimaces.*

Ah, well, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, but... [ Him and Asch? Really? It's strange to think about. Asch doesn't even have melons. :( Letting out a light cough, he scratches at the back of his head. ]

W-whatever makes them happy, I guess...? [ Except he can't just leave his poor double to fend for himself. Not when the guy is having that kind of reaction;;; He grabs onto his other self's coat to keep him away from the wall. ]

Maybe... well, maybe you could convince her to make a second 'you' for those kind of threads? Different icon needs and all that... [ COUGH. And they were having such a nice wistful conversation too. Damn mundanes have to screw them over at every turn. ]

What'll probably happen, is if she feels I "stick around" well enough, the next time she can spare money, she'll just get a paid account.
