Your mundane plays you, here, and wherever else they might put you. It's rather certain other mundanes have you as well, though versions from different places in time as you know, here, as you are. So, in a way, you actually have another mundane, just not the you that is currently in this place, at this moment. You can't jump ship from one to the other, however, since you're in what they seem to call their "headspace." The best you can hope for, as far as I've seen, is to become "retired."
